YOLO offers 4 different goal-oriented menus, each with 3-4 dishes catering to diets ranging from gluten-free to high protein, tagged with calorie count estimates. Cookies, brownies and muesli bars are also available as the occasional indulgence for cheat days. The pickiest of eaters should be able to choose something to their liking.
If you're not a regular "clean food" consumer, you might need to psych yourself up for the fare here. This Kale Pesto Pasta is green in all aspects (I trust you to search the health benefits of kale and broccoli for personal knowledge). I do not like broccoli, but the pesto taste made it bearable to chew 😅 The walnuts were a nice addition for crunch and nuttiness to the surprisingly tasty dish. However, I'm not too sure if I'll be willing to fork out $13.90+ for this in place of salads that are half the price and twice the size.
The biggest nose-wrinkler about this place is the plastic ware: food is served in plastic containers and utensils for dine-in customers. I highly doubt these are reused, or maybe there's a small likelihood they get recycled. This lack of eco-friendliness somehow contradicts their motto (from my personal and perhaps biased interpretation).
