Tempted by the use of mandarin yuzu mousse, we got the Pacific Rim ($9) as well. In a bright shade of orange, the spherical cake was a well-balanced combination of chocolate sponge, milk chocolate curd, and crunchy coconut. The mild tanginess of the yuzu was nicely rounded with the decadence of the sweet chocolate while the flavour of the coconut comes off more as an afterthought but the crumbles added a nice texture to the smooth mousse.
