The food here is everything you could want from a typical Malay nasi campur place - from curries and ulams to veggies placed on open troughs. By 12pm, you will find loyal crowds making a beeline for the ayam kampung goreng (free range chicken, RM5 per piece), the highlight of this Kelantanese restaurant. I just wish there were more meat than tulang in these seemingly malnourished birds. Regardless, meals here are sure to satisfy with the array of tasty side dishes that are entirely yours to pick. My recs: the pucuk pakis (fern shoots) and kubis (cabbage). Yum! Also don’t skimp on the cold Soursop juice (RM5). So refreshing!
