Conceived in 2017 by two friends with a mission to broaden the publicβs perception on how coffee can be enjoyed, the duo launched @theaffogatobar at Cluny Court with their own repertoire of decadent affogato desserts and innovative coffee brew, making it the first of its kind in Asia.
Affogato is an Italian dessert consisting of vanilla ice cream topped with a shot of espresso coffee. @theaffogatobar reinvented the usual affogato to an all new level.

Originated in Piedmont, Italy, Panna Cotta is one of the best known and frequently requested desserts. @theaffogatobar version of the Italians' favourite consists of a crunchy hazelnut praline gelato (made from slow roasted Italian hazelnuts) topped on a soft, silky hazelnut panna cotta and served with a double shot of espresso on the side.

Consumed by Japanese in all forms, Matcha has always been a popular choice. With its distinct flavour, it makes it fun and easy to incorporate into desserts. At @theaffogatobar , they have paired matcha, Azuki beans (another favourite of the Japanese people) and vanilla into an intricate dessert. The bitterness of the matcha, sweetness of the Azuki beans and richness of the madagascan vanilla gelato creates a complex yet delicious flavour.
