Went for the 1f1 mains, Cheesy Chicken and Cajun Chicken, with upgrade of one set to a meal including the soup of the day, and an icecream scoop.

Mains were not bad but nothing noteworthy. The chicken mains came with sides of grilled wedges and some salad.

Surprisingly, the side add ons were super good. Mushroom soup was piping hot when served, with strong mushroom flavour and small mushroom bits. Not watery at all, and very flavourful. Garlic bread piece was small but went well with the mushroom soup. This is one of the best mushroom soups we’ve had, actually.

Grilled wedges side dish was great as well. For dessert, we chose the cookies and cream flavour, and it was a great end to the meal.

Overall, sides were really good, although main dish (chicken) was lackluster. Would revisit if the main dish was done better. They also have other items on their menu, which looks good (eg. Salmon dishes), which were all unfortunately not included in the Burple deal. Would be great if the cafe could include more items in the deal.
