Because my IG foodie friend @hotatekudasai recommended Santouka Ramen, I just had to try it! He had his in Vancouver but well, since they have a branch here in Singapore, that's what I settled for!

This is an enjoyable ramen with soft noodles in a delicate broth that is not too oily and considerably less salty than most of the other ramen I had in Singapore. It is not my favourite broth but one of the better ones.

What I love most though is their onsen egg. Not overly salty with a soft yolk and firm egg white, it was perfect! The char siew is also commendable, tender with just the right amount of fats. While it still can't be compared with Japan's char siew, it is plenty good enough.
