Visited Mellow at Our Tampines Hub — the takeaway stall serves up freshly-baked Melon Pan with or without ice-cream with quite a number of flavours to choose from. One can choose from Kids, Small or Large; the Kids uses the same bun as the Small — the only difference between the two is that the "small" allows patrons to opt for two ice-cream flavours while the "kids" is only entitled to one. There is also larger bun available; known as the Large.

Opting for the D24 Durian and Chendol ice-cream, we actually quite like how pungent the D24 Durian flavour was though almost single-handedly wiping out the flavours of everything else (possibly including the Melon Pan itself). That being said, the Melon Pan does come with a bit of crustiness, though felt lacking of the buttery flavours while the bun itself was actually pretty light and fluffy.
