I apprehensively bit into a forkful of Gemmill’s signature dish, expecting the all-too-familiar strong gamy flavor of lamb...and was pleasantly surprised. Contrary to expectations, the dish wasn’t odorous at all and the characteristic meaty flavor had just the right kick, furthermore leaving a subtle taste that radiated slowly through our mouths. All in all, it was an interesting take on lasagne!
My only gripe is that the dish was pretty shallow and hence portion felt small. We sadly polished it off in minutes!
