Quite the spread, Kan Sushi’s Jyo Sushi Set ($43) had a fine assortment - all being my favourite cuts. Though a tad pricey as a choice for a quick sushi fix, the lunch set had great value as the quality was pretty good and was overall substantial as it came with soup, salad as well as fruits. Each piece was also perfectly seasoned. Think plump Hotate, sweet Ebi, briny pops of Ikura, the classic Salmon sashimi, and what I believe was a uber melty Aburi Engawa (flounder fin) with spring onions embellished atop. Toro fans would also enjoy the Negitoro and the tuna sushi rolls. Real satisfying!
