There's the normal Nanban Chicken here, but this spicy version is apparently only exclusive to Singapore and that's one more reason to order it for. While the fried batter of the fried chicken was pretty uninspiring being a tad limp and even sparse in certain parts, the tender and succulent chicken was saved by the unforgiving spicy Nanban sauce — the same egg mayo you would expect but with a Sambal-like chicken mixed into it that's surprisingly not shy of heat at all. Immensely shiok, and a good side to order if you are one who is dying to have something spicy alongside your Bijin Nabe to tingle your tastebuds with.
