The set comes with a soup, chose French onion and Clam chowder (top up applicable). Both soups were water like and lack how a good bowl of soup should be. The clam chowder came with just a couple of small clams and was unusually milky and I suspect thick cream was simply added to thicken the soup. As for the French Onion, it has lots of onion but still a lack down.

Ordered the Sesame chicken and the Thai style chicken popiah were quite unique and delicious albeit small. With roasted sesame sauce as it’s base, it is wrapped with veg and sprinkled liberally with peanuts. The Thai style chicken came with a mango (?) slice and was equally savory. Other than the popiah, the soups were a big letdown. Genmaicha from the tea bag was a nice touch to complete the meal.
