I took this picture after I "destroyed" the original appearance of the dish :( It came in an excessively neat look: all the hor fun were clumped and packed into an omelette shape which was burnt on every edge, while prawns are on the side with the veggies. It might look unpromising at first (how could she cook a lump of hor fun like that…), but man, the aunty knows her stuff very well. I enjoyed eating the burnt horfun mixed with the unburnt one. The gravy was not the normal thick sticky gravy that we normally get in a normal zi car stall; this gravy is more like normal soup that you can drink without torturing your throat. I also asked the aunty to give me extra belachan on the side and surprisingly it went very well with the gravy, giving a tinge of sourness and spiciness. Will definitely come back here in a few days time!
