Smooth, warm soybean curd with the brown sugar syrup and the chewy tang yuen is all we need during rainy days! Don’t you all agree?
Smooth, delicious tau foo fah. Not overly sweet and just the right portion for 2 to share. And that tong yuen... Chewy, dense, glutinous balls of goodness 😍
A big hit with the community is this homey dessert shop in SS15 that specialises in tau foo fah. Burppler Jia Qin fell in love with the signature dáo fu fah (RM3.50) with added tong yuen (RM1) while Burppler Twinkle Gan is a big fan of the beancurd + black sesame paste (RM5.50) for its rich flavours. On hot days, tuck into the dáo bing (RM7.90), beancurd with shaved ice that will cool you off. Ps. They just opened their second outlet in Damansara Jaya!

Daofufah or soya person? Dáo will be the place where you want to satisfy your craving towards them. However, the menu board in the shop wasn’t clear enough for me to understand. (maybe it’s just me 😹)
Homemade tau fu fah with a choice of ginger, brown or white syrup – I chose brown and I’m glad I did. The syrup was smooth and so, so fragrant. Also, I was expecting a cold bowl of tau fu fah but I am not complaining at all. This bowl is worth every penny.
