Striploin Bap

$13.00 · 15 Reviews

A balanced meal of carbs, protein and fibre.

Ordered the striploin bibimbap($17.50) generous serving, beef was nice and tender. Caramelised onions added sweetness to the dish and kimchi provided a slight hint of sourness. highly recommended!!

Beautifully seared striploin slices, together with servings of kimchi, spinach, beansprout namul, caramelised onions and poached egg rest on top of the kimgarou rice. In fact, I find the bowl a bit small for the generous servings.

Korean food has always come across as a cuisine that's rich in flavours for me. The fusion food has a much mellowed down taste. That said, the dishes are still well-prepared and portions are pretty good for sharing. The food each has an interesting twist to the otherwise usual korean/western dish - e.g. striploin instead of the usual stir fried pork in your bibimbap, and kimchi in the mac & cheese balls! I would say that the menu is quite a novelty!

One of my favourite dish to order here because they’re generous with the well-seared, juicy striploin slices!

Comes with everything that you usually find in a bibimbap- sprouts, kimchi, spinach, caramelised onions and a perfectly runny egg, mix it all up and you’ve got yourself a pretty flavourful, wholesome meal.

I love this striploin rice bowl ($13) from Two Hana! It looks unassuming but the combination of kimchi, onsen egg, striploin, caramelised onions and some of their magical sauce makes this quite on a league of its own. Although it looks small in portion I think it’s still quite filling. Recommend to share and get some of the sides to accompany with the rice bowl. After all, Two Hana boasts many interesting sides as well.

Fantastic, will be back for more. Coffee is good too :)

Been a good girl and reducing frequency of café-hopping, but can't control when facing Korean-western fusion food 😭..
CAPPUCCINO: Complimentary cup of coffee on Mon, Wed, Fri; 2 pm to 5 pm; generous portion; love the coffee art..
STRIPLOIN BAP: Striploin steak on bibimbap; portion looks small but super filling; quite difficult to mix like normal bibimbap; love the rice; flavorful & well-cooked; with kimchi, spinach; bean sprouts & poached egg; steak is lightly salted & cooked to well done; surprisingly very tender and juicy; good for sharing; a MUST-eat..
CRISPY COD FILLET: Fillet is tender and moist, coated with seasoned batter; with 2 sauces at the side which I prefer the honey soy sauce (light brown); tinge of sweetness and saltiness; mashed potatoes mixed with doenjang (Korean soybean paste) is a WOW; fall in love with the taste and I'm gonna try at home..
ICED MATCHA LATTE: Ordered this cos It's photogenic; matcha taste is strong; not too milky taste; option of +/- whipped cream; fish pancake is a disappointment as tasteless; dining buddy soaked it in cappucino like kopi + youtiao (fried fritters); drink is a worth to try but not the fish..
KOREAN SEAFOOD CIOPINNO: In short, jjampong (seafood) cream soup; taste is good but creamy-ness a tad overwhelming; with mussels, clams & prawns; options of buns or tofu; buns slightly hard & taste bland when eaten solo, but good choice for soaking up the soup; probably can try with the tofu; worth to try and best for sharing..
RAINBOW CAKE: My weak spot when seeing rainbow things; didn't have high expectations from rainbow food after several disappointing experience but still I will order 🤦; as expected, an add-on dish to the disappointment dish; taste is ??weird; not sure if it's suppose to be a cheesecake or just random mousse cake; base is soggy & taste can be better; nonetheless the presentation is good..
Overall a decent & filling meal in a cosy café; quite affordable; currently without service charge; wanted to try the houjicha pudding but no more..
