Neighbourhood izakaya joint Iza puts their own local twist to many of the items on the menu, including their popular Otah Tamago which can be seen on many a table in the restaurant. Plush square parcels of egg ensconce soft squares of meaty, homemade otah with just a hint of mild spiciness, the perfect snack to go along with a frosty mug of beer or highball.

An interesting twist offered by this fusion izakaya restaurant in Siglap. The Otah Tamago is nicely cooked and the Otah has a nice lunch of spiciness to the dish. $6.90
Lightly spicy otah and Japanese rolled egg are such a natural fit - they combine so deliciously. I love how they cook the egg really moist here too. Cut into bite-sized portions, this dish is very easy to share.
