It's the star attraction for Burpple Tastemaker Sheryl Lyx — crispy skin stuffed with a generous filling of chives and minced pork that "breaks apart to release a good amount of porky essence (think XLB soup within the dumpling)". Apart from dumplings, the Chinese Pizza ($11) packed with well-seasoned minced meat and wrapped in a crispy yet crumbly crust is great for sharing in a group. A stone's throw away from Bugis Street lies a hidden gem with delightful Chinese treats. Jing Hua is located right next to the famous sister branch of Keisuke Ramen (Bugis). My second time here after many years and I'm glad the food quality has maintained (even though I think the prices have gone up). The Guo Ties here are the star attraction- a crispy thick but light skin wraps around a generous filling of chives and minced pork, these fun-sized dumplings break apart to release all a good amount of porky essence (think XLB soup within the dumpling). 10 bite-sized dumplings for $8 isn't exactly cheap, but definitely worth a visit once in a while.
