Braised Pork Hock with Mee Hoon

This weather has me thinking of the moist, fragrant dish of stewed trotters with the mee hoon soaking up all that goodness I had the other day! ๐Ÿ™Š

Nice and wet but not overwhelmed by gravy, this reminded me of the food I have at my aunts during CNY.๐Ÿ™Œ The gravy was just right too, not too salty or sweet that I could still pick up hints of the other ingredients like ginger.

Then of course you've got the gelatinous, tender trotters and copious amounts of fried lard. Can't go wrong there! ๐Ÿ˜‚
