This weather has me thinking of the moist, fragrant dish of stewed trotters with the mee hoon soaking up all that goodness I had the other day! 🙊
Nice and wet but not overwhelmed by gravy, this reminded me of the food I have at my aunts during CNY.🙌 The gravy was just right too, not too salty or sweet that I could still pick up hints of the other ingredients like ginger.
Then of course you've got the gelatinous, tender trotters and copious amounts of fried lard. Can't go wrong there! 😂
