Spicy 🌶 and extremely oily but Shiok.
Not sure 🤔 if I'm burnt over my limit but the tofu sheets tasted like fish cake 🍥 to me.
The flat noodles could not hold its shape and break up easily. Had to use spoon to scoop it. Smooth silky down the throat that one cannot help one's spoonful after another.

This appetizer is a sensory experience. Despite its dark red hue, its cold to the touch and very fragrant. But that only lasts a few seconds before the sharp heat kicks in and you start fanning yourself with your hands 😤👋

A really great precursor to the grilled fish that'll come after this dish, be sure to keep buckets of tea or soy milk nearby if your chilli tolerance doesn't make the cut! 🌶🌶🌶
