Many has hailed it as the best Fried Chicken Karaage ๅๆใ in town. My partner and I ordered a value set with their tasty greens and rice to compliment the Large 20 pcs with 3 flavours karaage. Original salt, soy sauce (Shoyu) and Japanese Yuzu Pepper were our choice of flavours.

Simplicity is key, thus the salt flavoured one was our favourite, followed by soy sauce and lastly Yuzu pepper. Their โflavoursโ simply just came with a dipping sauce, I was a little disappointed but their Karaage was indeed the best in town.

- I don't go around eating karaage, but this could easily be one of the best karaage I've had. Batter was well-marinated without overpowering the chicken. So darn crisped, light from double frying to golden-brown perfection, yet every piece of chicken were still juicy, tender and.. no greasiness!
Opted for the plain 'ol original soy sauce to see how good it is without any fancy sauces, which they have a wide variety to choose from. Will be back to try their yuzu pepper, wasabi! Best of all, it's available for takeaway so next time I can get them and pop pop pop them into my mouth while shopping!

If you love fried chicken, please please try these ridiculously juicy buttermilk marinated babies! ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฆ Go soon before this promotional set's gone (usual price is >$18!) โ you'll get lesser veggies and no miso soup, but the same portion of moreish chicken chunks (and that's all that really matters)! Get it in salt/soy sauce flavour or add a dollar to get it doused in the sauce of your choice.
The skin is as usual the highlight. It's crispy and well seasoned..It could be just me but I feel a little 'bak ku teh' aftertaste.... Pretty good too.. 7.7/10 ๐๐๐
The chicken chunks are easier and neater to enjoy without getting your fingers all soak up with oil.. Taste wise is pretty good.. Not so oily, but crispy and well season chicken skin. This came with a huge serving of salad with a wide array of vegetables for the health conscious! Set comes with a bowl of rice too.. I think this is pretty good but with the steep price tag of $16.50, I wouldn't mind them adding an onsen egg into the rice!
