The Sushi Bar (Far East Plaza)

Absolutely fantastic, about 8 or 9 pieces of this package of goodness, avocado and raw salmon inside wrapped in lightly charred salmon and a dollop of mentaiko.

Highly encouraged to go to the Far East outlet instead of Taka as is it much less crowded and noisy. Food quality is as good. 👍

Because I was madly MADLY craving some sushi, I went for something foolproof— The Sushi Bar’s 𝘼𝙗𝙪𝙧𝙞 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙢𝙤𝙣 𝙍𝙤𝙡𝙡 (~$16.90). Pretty self-explanatory, it was mentaiko torched salmon on raw salmon, complemented with kani and cucumber. Simple, hits the spot, fulfils the cravings. 🍣

I usually for anything with Salmon and aburi together because these two are literally the perfect match. My first bite of this sushi was that it was a little too dry and it tasted a little like the famous sushi roll from Koh grill except that it didn't give me a lasting impression. Also do note that the Burpple 1 for 1 isn't available on sundays

Very satisfying salmon aburi roll that comes with torched salmon, avocado, cucumber and kani stick. The aburi salmon was well torched that it melts in the mouth and compliment well with the creaminess of seared mayonnaise 》$16.90

Killing two birds with one stone by satisfying our tempura craving and our salmon addiction. Every bite was delightful from the soft aburi salmon to that crunchy shrimp core in the middle.

One of my favourite places to get my chiraishi fixes. 3 slices of tuna, swordfish, salmon and yellowtail. Followed with 2 slices of aburi salmon, 1 scallop , 2 slices of tamgoyaki and a centre full of Ikura!! All the slices were close to a good 1cm thickness. No way you are getting that amount and variety anywhere else for that price.
