Su Hang Xiang Ban’s lunch set for two offers great variety and balance. The Golden Hunan Stir-fried Pork with Chili was savoury with a gentle heat, while the Tofu and Shrimp Pot came in a light, umami-rich broth. Qinlong cabbage provided a clean, crunchy contrast, and the premium rice held everything together nicely.
Drinks included the Internet-famous Kumquat Lemon Tea and Grape Mulberry Juice—both refreshing and not too sweet. The set ended with ice jelly, a light and cooling finish. At $35.80 before service and GST, it’s a well-rounded meal that’s filling without being heavy.
Had an amazing dining experience! The ambience was lovely and so was the service. Loved the grilled broccolini, which paired really well with the juicy and flavourful steak! So glad we didn’t miss out on dessert too - the pavlova flotante was so yummy & a great way to end off a satisfying meal.
Ordered the house feast for 2 pax which came with 3 types of beef, along with steamed egg and one bowl of soybean soup. Meat was grilled for us and quality was good. Portion was just nice for 2 ppl. Good variety of side dishes which were refillable.
Attentive service. Clean and chill place for a nice dinner with friends
Not exaggerating when I say that this was the best steak I’ve ever eaten!! Extremely tenderrrr, perfectly seasoned and beautifully pink inside. Definitely highly recommend the grass-fed rib eye to everyone visiting this steakhouse.
Lamb rack was also perfectly medium-rare and tasted great. For starters, the crispy chicharones (fried pork skin) with the light tangy sauce was appetising and addictive.
Ordered the pavlova with sorbet dessert. Simple yet sophisticated, light and refreshing.
Overall cozy ambiance, great quiet place with amazing food to celebrate special occasions. Service was also very attentive. So glad to have visited and will definitely be back for their steak!
The steak is season perfectly. Not too salty, not too bland. It pairs well with the side dishes. The two component that stands to me is the brussel sprout where it is baked perfectly to leave a nice char and crisp on its other layer and the mash potato where it is mixed with roasted black garlic to give a unique taste.
Authentic herbal soup to nourish our body. Complete it with delicious yam rice, handmade prawn roll, signature Jade tofu. Food taste just right, not salty nor sweet. Best healthy meal for the day.
Pangium beef bourguignon was delicious! 10/10 recommend
ordered the chicken soup (1 white, 1 black), and very much enjoyed both. the soups were rich and flavourful, with a strong herbal kick. they rly didn't skimp on the herbs haha. also tried 2 sides, the omelette with cai po and jade tofu. as someone who doesnt especially like tofu, I was pleasantly surprised with how the tofu dish turned out. i also believe the waiter said the raddish and tofus were all made in house.
the service was fast and pleasant, was nice to see that the employees actually seemed like they enjoyed working there, which is rare to see. oh and also, they had free icecream! would go back again to try their other soups
I had a wonderful dining experience at Tan Ser Seng Herbal Restaurant! This place is a true gem for anyone who appreciates traditional Chinese herbal cuisine, especially their signature herbal turtle soup and chicken soup. The flavors are rich, authentic, and deeply nourishing—clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the health benefits of each dish. The ambiance of the restaurant is calm and comforting, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a hearty, wholesome meal.
Whether you’re a regular lover of herbal soups or trying it for the first time, I highly recommend this place. It’s clear they’ve preserved a long-standing tradition and serve each bowl with pride. I’ll definitely be returning soon!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Surprisingly large crowd at the restaurant - seems like there were many regulars. First time trying this soup restaurant, although we did not order the Turtle soup - still a great restaurant for other soup choices as well. Chicken soup and black chicken soup were thick, strong-tasting and had many ingredients inside - chicken was tender. Prawn balls were delicious - a must-buy in this restaurant. Tofu is their signature dish, which we also enjoyed (but not as much as the prawn balls!). Yam rice was super fragrant and definitely hits the spot! Chilli wasn't the spicy kind, but the slight zestiness to it does bring out the flavors of the dishes. Paired with chrysanthemum tea, which really surprised me on how authentic it tastes, very nicely brewed.
