After a long shopping sesh, recharge over coffee and sandwiches at this Japanese-inspired cafe in Pavilion. The community favourite is the Dirty (RM14), a combination of ristretto and cold milk β a punchy yet well-balanced choice. There's also a jazzed up version: a Cold Mocha (RM15) with additional rich and silky chocolate. So good!

Served in a large mason jug, the portion isnβt stingy at all. The matcha milk isnβt sweetened so go ahead take a sip, taste the matcha original taste, before go ahead pour in all the sweetener. Stir well, and enjoy. Itβs smooth and well balanced. Order a cake to pair with and you can happily enjoy your personal time alone there

A RM15.00 beverage in a quiet corner of the mall, the Mocha promised a rich taste of cocoa, but if I were to order this again, I would go for the hot version. That one would be RM1.00 cheaper and the drink would not be diluted by the chunks of melting ice.
Although a bit on the steep side in terms of pricing, the Sapporo Cheesecake (RM19.00) was a lucky discovery for me. It seemed like butter cookies made a nice base to the cake, with a thin layer of jam and two different layers of cheese cake, but both are densely packed yet so light in terms of flavour. The dessert was finished with a mix of crushed nuts and cookie crumble to add that mild crunch factor to the creamy experience.
I would likely pair it with a latte or something if I would return the next time.
Tucked away in a quieter stretch of the shopping mall, Artelier makes an impeccable respite for good coffee and a break from the bustle. The mellow wood-and-grey decor is set against spaced out seats, providing for Zen vibes and a sense of privacy. Come for the Dirty (RM14), a no-ice concoction of ristretto and cold milk. Served without a straw, the drink comes in a sturdy glass that helps for smoother swigs! While the friendly baristas will talk you into trying their specialty Japanese black brews, cold or hot, there are also drinks for the non-coffee drinkers. These guys make a yummy Cold Chocolate (RM14), sans ice for stronger flavours. For something to eat, the kitchen dishes out clean, colourful smoothie bowls. Try the Pitaya Bowl (RM18), a tropical medley of dragonfruit, banana and mango. It's tasty, healthy and not to mention, really pretty to look at! Avg price per person: RM25
