Meaty portobello stuffed with cheese @ RM17.90.
This is my 1st visit to Anne Elizabeth and the meal here doesn't disappoint. Ordering process is very unique because there is no menu on the table. You choose the protein you want from the counter and the kitchen will do the rest. There are other dishes written on the wall behind the counter if you wanted to order pasta, salad or soup. Staffs were very friendly, passionate and patient. We order salad, portobello, salmon, iberico pork and 2 sausages. Including drinks the total damage was RM166.50.
Almost every table orders this when they come here. But for the whopping price of RM21.90 per piece, it sure comes with a very hefty price tag. It’s sinfully good though.
Loveeee the marination of the meats, especially the Signature pork belly and Guinness pork shoulder. Also enjoyed the sweet longaniza sausage. They recently included some roasted garlic with the meats as a side and it is such a good accompaniment.
We also ordered a salad, portebello mushroom and 4 drinks. Total bill came up to RM33 pp on average though, not cheap (and the meats I ordered were the cheaper ones compared to the other premium meats they had)
So how does it work here? They don’t have a menu for their meat items. You go to the counter and choose what you want. There are pork, beef and lamb in the form of sausages, bratwursts, ribs, etc.
So choose what you want and they’ll grill it for you. The meat dish doesn’t come with sides. If you want, you’ll need to order separately from the menu above the counter.
The price varies between the meat items.
The mashed potato was fluffy. The sauce was great. Same sauce as the one that comes with the grilled meat.
This is RM6.90.
In a place known for its pork, I chose a non-pork dish since I don’t eat pork.
As this place is always full, best to do reservation. The don’t have a menu per se but they do list non-meat items on a board above the counter. They have quite a selection of salad and pasta.
The aglio olio I ordered was al dente. Amount of olive oil is ok, not overwhelming. Good amount of mushrooms and dried chilli flakes.
This was RM18.50.
