Met up with a friend at Arteastiq weeks ago for dinner. I had been to Arteastiq @ Mandarin Gallery for tea before and I loved it. I really like the ambience at the Plaza Singapura outlet, however due to lack of service staffs, it took us awhile to have our food ordered and served. The food was "oookay lah" didn't exactly create a deep impression, we ordered 1 Mermaid's Blush-Snapper (S$27) , 1 Cordon Bleu (S$ 25) and 1 lychee tea (S$ 11). We used #entertainerapp 1-for-1 main course and had S$25 deducted from the bill. Have to thank my sisters for bringing me here. This is a throwback from late August 2016, visited my family for a short trip and my sisters brought me to this quaint cafe in Ipoh. My sister insisted that I must try the Souffle Pancake, wow I must say it was really good. It was an explosion of flavors in my mouth and I am not kidding. Items ordered: 1 Souffle Pancake (MYR 17), 1 Apple Juice (MYR 9) and 1 San Pellegrino Limonata (MYR 10). Chanced upon this place after gym with Phoebe last Sunday. Haha! As silly as it sounds, I ordered Salted Egg Yolk Eggs Benedict (S$ 17) which is a huge no-no post workout. #donttellmypersonaltrainer. To be honest, no regrets, it was worth all the calories. The salted egg yolk flavor was so rich, the prawns were meaty and juicy as well, instead of using bread the cafe substituted it with man tao like buns. 😍 Loved the whole combo. Phoebe ordered grilled prawns tomyam pasta, the dish is a cream based pasta with a tinge of tomyam flavor and it was not fiery spicy. However, the drinks(Iced mocha, S$ 5.50 ; smoothie , S$ 5) we ordered didn't fare as well as the food. Too sweet for our liking and we had to add water and ice to dilute it. This cafe is listed in the #entertainerapp as well, and we had the pasta deducted off. Total bill was S$ 27.50 and there was no service charge and gst. Verdict: Definitely will return! A nice place for small groups. We ordered massive amount of food, considering that we were only 3 girls. 1 bacon mac & cheese (S$12) , 1chilli cheese fries (S$ 15), 1 chicken & waffles (S$ 20), 1 blackened pork collar (S$ 24), 4 glasses of Gran Hacienda Savignon (S$ 32) and 4 glasses of Jim Beam White (S$ 32). We used the #entertainerapp 1 for 1 free main dish. Total bill inclusive svc and gst was S$126.20 Verdict: The food was decent but the chilli cheese fries and the blacked pork collar was the bomb! This bar is located in between lavender mrt and bugis mrt; and it was about 10mins walk from the mrt stations. We had a very sinful dinner after gym last Sunday. Since that we arrived late.. about 8.45pm- ish, their Roasted Duck and Honey Glazed BBQ Pork Ribs was sold out. Hence, we ordered the pork chop with cheese (S$ 19.90), pan seared seabass (S$ 20.90), Apple Crumble with 2 scoops of icecream(S$ 7.50) and a bottle of red wine (S$ 43).
