Eggy and meaty, just how I like my sandwiches! Fluffy eggs and the meat was generous and tasty.
Tried to get the 1 for 1 set but they said no set, only a la carte (which was fine for me but if you want the set...this seems to be their new rule)
100% worth using Burrple Beyond!
Filling and can be eaten for breakfast or a filling snack.
Visited the Jcube outlet for the first time and saw that there was a $9 promotion (everything was under $9) but we decided to use Burpple instead, but tbh only saved like $1?
The lemony garlic prawn was too cheesy and overpowered any taste of garlic or lemon. Also, the shrooms pasta was quite bland. Not worth if you have to pay full price for them imo.
Luckily we bought the chix n skewers which were much better but they spammed mayo on it so it was kind of weird.
They also had the 1 for 1 drink promotion so we got lychee and passionfruit soda (lychee tasted way better!)
Didn't get a chance to try their desserts and they looked good so maybe I'll come back again just for the desserts!
The first time I visited Two Men Bagel House, I got the blueberry bagel with portabello, salmon and scrambled eggs ($11) and I loved it!! However this time around they only had plain bagels left and I decided to opt out of the scrambled eggs because it was a bit expensive to add them on ($2.50).
For $3 the serving of salmon was generous!! And so good but a bit too salty. Perhaps I should add on another filling next time to balance the saltiness out. The portabello mushroom was juicy and tasty! Would probably try to come earlier to get it with blueberry bagel again, or perhaps garlic.
Spent about 10 minutes staring at the menu and finally just decided to get a cold turkey club to save the hassle of trying to customzie my own bagel. They were only left with the plain bagels when I got there at 2pm (they close at 4pm) but it was alright!
The bagel contained honey baked ham, cured sausage, smoked turkey breast, chutney and smoked aioli with hobo greens.
Overall quite a tasty bagel although the servings of the meat were quite thin (as pictured) but the sweetness of the ham was SO GOOD! Would probably go for a heavier bagel next time. A bit pricey for $14 but it's a once in a while treat 😊
Saw that they opened a new outlet at Boon Lay MRT Station and decided to give it a try.
They make your tea on the spot so I guess it's lucky that there was no queue at all when I decided to buy it hehe because it would have taken so so long otherwise!
Love love LOVE the pearls they are so juicy and soft and chewy and all things pearls should be!!
The drink wasn't a 5/5 but the pearls definitely were!
Very... peachy... To say the least but not too sweet though!! (25% sugar)
As usual, am a sucker for their pearls!
Blessed to live in the East so that I can frequent Playmade as and when I want to hehe
25% sugar level! Is not bad with the Taiwan milk tea and I love love love their pearls!! Usually get sesame but it was replaced by peach pearls when I went this time and pleasantly surprised at how lightly sweet it was. Great complement to my drink!
Refreshing drinks and not too sweet! (we ordered 30% sugar) love that they put the fruits inside so that there's something to feast on after finishing the drink hehe
Super worth using Burpple!!
Quite the healthy dish this was! A lovely piece of salmon on top of a mixture of red and brown rice, paired with edamame beans, cherry tomatoes and a sous vide egg. If you're looking for dishes which are heavier in protein or one with health benefits (as advertised in their cafe), this is one to try! The salmon and teriyaki were quite the combo: the sweet sauce complemented the crispy salmon quite well. The dish did take quite long to arrive though. All in all, a must try for people who love their healthy foods!
7/10 for flavour for this pasta!
Spicy chicken tossed in tomato sauce, with the spinach replaced with mushrooms because they ran out of spinach.
The dish was more spicy than flavourful; I was expecting a delicious combination of chicken and pasta and while the chicken was juicy, the pasta was bland. Paired this with their chicken karage which is a solid 8.5/10! A great appetiser.
Highly highly recommend this to anyone who's craving ramen in the East! The pork slices MELT in your mouth and are full of goodness. Chose spicy broth for this (wasn't too spicy) and it brought out the flavour of the pork very nicely 😊
A very flavourful dish with juicy little crab meat bites and chilli peppers atop angel hair aglio olio. Definitely a pricey dish to try but Burpple Beyond makes it worth it!
