Mocha Dolce Dolce, meaning “sweet”. I half expected this drink to be excessively sweet since I was told it’s white chocolate. But, surprisingly not! It was sweet indeed, but just right! The girl manning the counter told us their mocha and chocolate drinks are made with real chocolate buttons instead of choco powder, so hurray to that!

Tiramisu Mille Crepe Love that it wasn’t too sweet! This is their best-seller. Best to have it along with a long black. (This is without alcohol, so no worries about drunk driving :D)

No Frills Bread & Pastries We thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate brownies and tartines! Coffee is good too. If you like your sourdough very sour though, then this isn’t the place for you.

Apple Sourdough One of my favourite place for fresh loaf. The sourdough here is undeniable one of the best in town. But the apple sourdough gives you that equal amount of chunky apple bits ratio to the fluffy fermented bread. A bit of sweet and sour every mouth full. RM13 per loaf.

Filter Coffee (RM20) So sweet and so fruity! Haven’t had such a good filter brew in such a long time, and such a happy find to discover in Cheras. I went with Ethiopian beans from a Berlin roastery that has tasting notes of pomelo, blackcurrant and elderflower. A bit expensive as compared to other cafes, but can’t complain for a very delicious cup. *They don’t always have beans from international roasters. The selection changes often.

Ham And Cheese Panini (RM18) A great light lunch option if you’re in the area. Very generous with the cheese and turkey ham too that provides a very satisfying bite. Refreshing salad on the side to help balance off the saltiness topped with dried cranberries and walnuts. Only wish they gave more leaves.

Also look out for the ice-cold and fizzy Nitro Kombucha (from RM12) with soft hints of hojicha that's a great thirst quencher on hot days. Spot creative tea-infused dishes on the food menu too! Cha-bagel With Smoked Salmon & Nitro Kombucha At RM20 & RM18 respectively, it might be a bit pricey to some but the matcha cream cheese goes well with the smoked salmon and sesame bagel. The nitro kombucha is hojicha based and tasted how a kombucha would taste like but with a added tea hint.

For Filter Brews and Cakes on Weekends Yes, this coffee bar IS located in the owner's grandpa's home. Pro tip: Look for a grey gate with colourful paper chimes hanging on it. Drip coffee runs the show with decent selection to choose from. On our visit, we spotted Sumatran (RM12) and Costa Rica (RM19) beans. We also like the milk-based Ah Gong Blend (RM12) that's not too creamy and naturally sweet. It's made sans an espresso machine! The barista uses a Moka pot to heat up the milk and a hand frother to create milk foam – very cool.

Ah Gong Blend (RM12) The only milk coffee option on the menu features Ah Gong’s ttdi-coffee blend with arabica beans. Despite not having an espresso machine, they still deliver very smooth white coffees. The milk is heated up in a mokka pot, and the barista uses a hand frother to create the foam for the milk. Not as creamy as other milk coffees out there, which I prefer.

Drip Coffee (RM19) Tucked in a house (was told it’s the owner’s grandpa’s actual house??) is this little coffee bar making good filter coffee! Went with the recommended Costa Rica option for something light and sweet, and it was! Super light-bodied that almost tasted candy-like. Very easy to enjoy.

Houjicha Roll, Matcha Roll, Iced Latte, Iced Earl Grey Latte And Iced Matcha Latte. Definitely a must visit place for matcha lovers! Cosy environment and scrumptious dessert! Houjicha & Matcha Roll: RM10 each. Iced Latte top with Ice Cream: RM16. Iced Matcha Latte with Houjicha Kanten: RM14. Iced Earl Grey Latte: RM13.

Matcha Roll & Iced Latte w/ Madagascar Vanilla Ice Cream. Absolutely fell in love with their matcha roll! The Iced latte was definitely a good combination to go with indeed.

Iced Chocolate. This was rich, smooth and also not over the top level of sweetness. Just perfect! (RM11)

Cinnamon Mocha (RM6) Love the addition of cinnamon in my coffee.

Good Vibes And Even Better Coffee! Great atmosphere and super friendly staff! The coffee is one of the best around and also affordable. They have a good selection of alternative milks - highly recommend an oat flat white!

Home is where the heart is . The Strawberry Lychee Rose Cloud cake is enough to make you high on cloud 9 in every bite. Its lovely texture and aromatic Rose essence complements well with the Lychee flavor. Strawberry was lacking in presence but the 2 other potent flavors just melts in the mouth so well. -8.5/10 (RM14.90) . Chocolate is absent in the cake despite what it holds, but the taste of the Earl Grey Buttercream is delightful enough to soothe the soul. Some mild diffusion of Lavender also lingers in the tastebuds to calm the nerves of one's hectic day. -7.5/10 (RM14.90) . Welcoming customers warmly with an astounding selection of baked goods and friendly smiles, you'll feel right at home once you step foot inside. Probably because its smacked in the middle of the sprawling resident metropolis of Mont Kiara, giving it a similar but a much toned down vibe. It also shares the same building as Kopenhagen Coffee too.

Strawberry Lychee Rose Cloud Cake Taking your mind high above the skies on every bite, the aromatic flavors of the dessert was perfect. The Lychee and Rose just completed well together. Couldn't taste much of the Strawberry though. (RM 14.90)
