I had a pot of Sencha tea with Apricot & Peach infused tea. The atmosphere of the cafe was laid-back, cozy & very welcome. The tea was aromatic & I love the tea. However, sadly their service was surely lacking..for a first time visit, I was truly disappointed. Nvr tried the food as kitchen was closed when I stepped in during mid afternoon.
Chanced upon Craftsmen Specialty Coffee & decided to try them out without reading reviews. Warning: Pricing for food & drinks are high compared to reputable cafes. Nevertheless, we gave them a chance & tried them out. I had Thick Toast with Salmon & Poached eggs (S$15.90) & an Iced Cafe Mocha (S$7). Hubby B had a Shaved Ham Croissant Sandwich & Mango Mexican soda (because their Iced tea is ridiculously pricey!). My toast was not warm & crisp, however the poached egg was done nicely. The Iced mocha was a disappointment for the price they are asking for. For the Shaved Ham Croissant, it was cold & nothing to shout about. The mango Mexican soda was something new & worth trying out. Overall if based on 5 stars, I would only give it a 1 star. They most probably are still around due to lack of coffee places in the neighborhood & their lacklustre service is not a place I will visit again unless I have no choice.
Cajun Chicken! Single (Mini) portion at $6.90! How affordable can this be? You can imagine the regular portion to be even huge! For the Grill eaters!!
I ordered the Single fish (Mini portion) for their Fish & chips at S$7.90! Crispy, hot off the stove & fish has no frozen-taste which is good! Worth the try if u're in the mood for western, meat or grills! No pork sold here though. They offer good food, affordable pricing but lacking on service. So don't expect the latter.
