so pillowy n fluffy omg absolute delight (sweet potato fries r pretty gd too)
my only gripe was the egg yolk was kinda over cooked but overall still delish ๐ every mouthful was a burst of flavours yumz
their butterfly pea rice not only looks good but itโs so fragrant, soft n fluffy too!! the chicken leg is juicy n tender, but the highlight is defo the rendang sauce!! itโs ridiculously creamy from the coconut milk, yet not jelak as itโs rly flavourful from the spices which helps to alleviate the richness. sambal leans on the sweet side, but still packs a lil punch. for just S$5.90, worth in its price n portion!
this is my go to there (& i visit relatively often). super tender n flavourful pork, w crisp and meaty spring rolls n chewy noodles that complement its counterparts. rmb to add the sauce on the side into the noodles, makes a ton of difference ~~~
tried out @quehomesg134 โs new lemongrass chicken awhile back and its rly good ๐ itโs the exact same as my fav pork rendition, but the chicken is soft n tender w a light and tangy lemongrass profile ~~~
tastewise it was pretty good at an affordable price of S$13.90!!!! the only downside was that there was a huge slab of โbeefโ that ended up being tissue paper wot even LOL
portion wise it was huge with generous fillings. taste wise was decent too but sadly, it was EXTREMELY DRY and hard. didnโt help that they didnโt heat it up enough too which was just sad. jkโs chicken and emmental sandwich (S$14 wtf) was horrendously dry and tasteless :( our verdict, nope wonโt b returning anytime soon (or ever). sad bc their crodos were yumz
this French Toast (S$12.90) is no ordinary one bc itโs HUGE. two thick slices of buttery and soft brioche buns made more decadent after being soaked in its eggy mixture, cooked and drizzled generously with maple syrup. i love how they layered cheese between the two slices of brioche, for alsome saltiness to cut thru the richness of the brioche itself. they were also topped with tomatoes and avocado + a serving of creamy scrambled eggs in the side.
the queue was loooong but worth the wait imo. the prawns were fresh n sweet + the fragrant shallots have a nice varying crunch!! the soup was decent too ~~~
the sweetness of the kopi pairs well with the creaminess of the soy milk!! ft cheese balls which were just alright ~~~
