Ordered the wild veg omelette($12) as the waitress recommended and it was a also a recommended dish in the menu. Although it was tasty, I found it too salty and oily for my liking. Maybe because we did not order rice. I don't recommend it. Xoxo, wet tissue no have

Ordered the mango salad ($10). They gave generous portion of mango. This appetiser is very appetising! The sweet and sourness of the sauce made it impossible to stop eating! Love the dried shrimps! Xoxo, wet tissue no have

Ordered this fishmaw-crabmeat-bean sprout dish ($20). Although the dish doesn't look spectacular, the combination of chewy fishmaw, subtle crabmeat, soft wet gooey egg, and crunchy bean sprout is simply perfect! Highly recommended!

Ordered the legendary lala bee hoon ($18), which was superbly good! There was more lala clams than bee Hoon in the wok. The soup is thick, sweet, and filled with seafood goodness. *glup glup glup* my parents were raving how they come back and order one wok each the next time. The power of wok hei~~~

Came to Ding Tele after reading an article on ST, where the journalist was raving how close the food was compared to Shanghai. The pan-fried crispy pork soup bun (生煎包) is indeed SUPERB! $4.80 for 4 crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside buns! I agree that it's really hard to get 生煎包 this good in SG. If you want a taste of Shanghai. I highly recommend this. Also, I ordered the signature 小龙包 ($4.80 for 5 pieces)-- the inside is juicy but the skin is simply too thick. You are better off going to DTF. The noodles are really mediocre. The noodles with pork (大排面) ($7.50) gave generous serving of the pork and noodles but the pork taste so bad that I only ate the noodles. Be warned that it is super difficult to find a parking lot >.<

Endless queue at this stall. Came at 7:15pm on a weekday and queued for 35minutes. This stall used to be located at Margaret drive when I was young. Same old school taste! The owner now opens the stall for a shorter period of time (4ish to 8ish pm). Nostalgic old school Char Kway Teow at $3 + 50c (extra eggs~~ highly recommended)

$7.60 for a box of 4 egg tarts or $1.90 for 1 yummilicous tai Cheong egg tart! The crust is absolutely buttery and the pastry melts in your mouth! The egg feeling is fragrant and not too sweet! Perfect combination! I had 3 at a go 😘😘

It was impossible to find a parking lot along the shop houses or along the roads. (I also tried waiting at the opposite parking for 30 minutes but without much luck) In the end, I packed the $6.50 (large) thunder tea [the small size one is $5.50]. The vege ingredients were fresh and I particularly like the crunchiness from the "char por" and ekan bilis! The thunder sauce (mainly mint leaves and basil leave) had a stronger pesto flavor, which was surprisingly more overpowering than the peppermint. I really liked the thunder sauce! However, it seemed that they were stingy with the sauce when I packed (40% of the container) compared to dine-in (1 full bowl of sauce was observed being served to dinners).

Ordered the dolsot bibimbap ($9.90) and kimchi pancake ($3.90). The dolsot bibimbap tasted mediocre but it is definitely a healthy option! Comes with the option of cheese or soya. The cheese made it taste a little odd but interesting. Kimchi pancake is too oily and it tasted more like cheese pancake than kimchi pancake. Note: they were very stingy with the side dishes (小菜) that is usually given for free and in abundance in typical Korean resturant. No gst and no service charge (you have to pay at the counter first, collect your own cutleries, and grab your own cups)

#01-165 新億代 is this newly opened (2 months) stall at old airport food centre run by a young pair of couple. Order the Hokkien mee ($4), which is very tasty with 2 giant prawns and loads of ekan bilis and fried lard bits! Also ordered the black white carrot cake ($5) + egg ($0.5 more)! The white carrot cake has lots of chai por and the black one is simply delicious! The black sauce is really fragrant! Super satisfy and new found gem at old airport !

Order the chicken drumstick ($5++, my partner ordered the chicken breast which is the same price) + awesomely fragrant chicken rice ($0.6)! The chicken rice is so good that we ordered extra! The grind ginger along with the "jelly" under the chicken skin makes it irresistible! Not forgetting the super thirst quenching lime juice ($2.5)! Totally satisfying!!!

Ordered the Lontong ($3.50) and gado gado($3.50). The lontong sauce was mediocre but I particular liked the vege as it was fresh and crushy. The gado gado was a tad too sweet but the fish keropok made up for it. The tauhu in both dishes were awesome. I initially wanted to try the tuahu telor that seemed to be highly raved and recommended on burppler but it was not available (we were here at 8:45am on a Sunday morning). Would probably come back again for the tauhu and Nasi Padang! Super crowded but the queue moves really fast!
