the service was wonderful and the green tea ice cream was really unique tasting and refreshing. i love the full body flavour of the pistachio in the ice cream as well. overall quite a great experience :)

this was really filling but i'd say there wasn't much to rave about? the rice was well seasoned, and the portions were generous but the location is rather out of the way so i'd only drop by again if i'm nearby.

this reminds me so much of my ahma's homemade mee hoon kuey--the noodles are chewy and of uneven thickness in a good way. there is so much flavour soaked up by the noodles because of the uneven shape of the noodles. this place was my go-to place for lunch when i used to work in the area because it's so affordable and delicious, and the uncle and auntie are so friendly and kind to me!

lunch set includes a drink, dumplings and noodles. it was really filling and worth it with burpple beyond! we ordered the original and the pierogi, together with the sichuan noodles, osmanthus drink and grapefruit drink. the dumplings were really outstanding and the noodles were very springy and flavourful. customer service was wonderful too even though it was busy! 10/10 would visit again for the dumplings! :)

the carrot cake had a good hint of spice and was moist! the flavour of the sponge reminded me slightly of kueh lapis. the lemon meringue tart had a buttery crust and the meringue was smooth and not overly sweet. quite affordable for its price :)

this has gotta be the best sandwich experience i ever had in my life! we ordered the turkey sandwich and fried chicken sandwich using burpple beyond and it was so filling and worth it! they were so generous with the fillings and the ingredients tasted really fresh! also i really appreciate how they wrapped they wrapped the sandwiches in this very aesthetic sandwich paper and label the sandwiches with your name. the turkey classic is on the lighter side, but this is balanced by the savoury and smoky profile of the bacon in the sandwich. the sous-vide turkey was also moist and tender. on the other hand, the fried chicken was very flavourful and tender. coupled with the kewpie sauce and a crunch from the cabbage, we devoured the sandwich in no time because it was SO GOOD.

this dish is my go-to whenever i visit this place! there is so much flavour and smokiness in the noodles and each bite is really addictive. it's also very fragrant and peppery and the noodles are of the right texture and consistency. my other go-to is the crispy thai wings, which is really crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside. plus this place doesn't create a hole in my wallet so i love to eat here away from the crowds in orchard.
