loved how we can customize our toppings for the burgers & how half the toppings were cooked! five guys were generous with the toppings (the pickle fan in me was super satisfied) and they added some juiciness to the otherwise dry beef, which was a pity ‘cause every other component of the burger tasted amazing. the portions were huge & people with a regular appetite could live with ordering a mini burger if they are getting sides to share.

can i scream abt the milkshakes??? best no frills milkshake i had in years!! the taste of bananas was prevalent in every mouthful and the more we sipped, we started tasting more of the super silky peanut butter. legit wouldn’t mind having one everyday if not for my weight 🤤🤤🤤

best fried chicken cutlet in sg!! (eagerly waiting for devils fried chicken). the size of the chicken was substantial, and the meat was really juicy and flavorful. esp loved how the batter was reasonably thin and crispy - it held its crunch even after 30 mins.

is it just me but the standard for the soft serve had dropped? somehow the taste of chocolate wasn’t as strong as how i remembered it to be 😭😭😭 nevertheless, the soft serve was still creamy and rich & a super good deal with the one for one. but probs won’t go back again with the current standards

absolutely loved the french toast!! the toast was thick & fluffy, and there were notes of cinnamon in every mouthful. the caramelized bananas were a nice touch as it lent a hint of bitterness & fragrance to offset the sweetness from the otherwise cloyingly sweet dish.

the latte should be good for most people!! the flavor of the beans was bold and slightly bitter. but for us who likes milky drinks, it was a tad too intense.

the all-in brekkie was the typical breakfast dish at cafes, and there wasn’t anything memorable abt it. super worth it with burpple though

came in with sky high expectations (cause of their croissant) but left with sky high disappointment too ☹️☹️☹️ the mains tasted subpar; steak was overdone, mushroom tasted limp & there was barely any seasoning on the fish & chips. the meal was eventually too greasy for us to finish. the fries was the only saving grace but then again it didn’t exactly taste fantastic. better stick to their pastries next time.

newest and best find during lunch 🥰🥰🥰 the mango passionfruit donut tasted interesting; there’s a sour tang reminiscent of passionfruit in the icing but we can’t taste much of the mango. also, the donut was so light and fluffy, and we loved the fact that they had flavors that were atypical of a donut (though we realized that we liked the normal flavors better) 🤤🤤🤤 would def go back for the peanut butter flavored ones. happy valentines everyone!! 💕💕💕

perfection in a bite was probs the best way to describe it. the tart was crumbly with a cookie-like texture & the panna cotta base was unbelievably smooth and soft even after a night. the oranges were a delight; super fresh & the light sugar glaze offset the tartness of the oranges. we def went up to dessert heaven (if there’s one) after every mouthful.

the wantea which we didn’t really want after a few sips 😭😭😭 can’t really taste the tea in the original milk tea & the sugar syrup tasted pretty artificial. alishan oolong was relatively better but the pearls killed the drink - overly soft and chewy 😨 somewhat reminded me of those “bubble tea” from sweet talk all those years back.
