Big Breakfast Platter Finally tried out this brunch place a few months ago. We could pick our own 5 sides if I remember correctly. I thought it looked small at first, then I couldn’t finish it because it was a lot 😅

French Toast Bread Pudding (MYR27), not your typical french toast! Mixed berries compote and whipped cream spread on sourdough, decorated with crushed walnuts, pistachio and edible flowers. Classic Malaysian Pancake Been wanting to try the Local Pankek (RM18) after seeing it on Instagram for quite a bit and it didn't disappoint. 5 pieces of pandan infused pancake topped with caramelised banana, desiccated coconut, coconut ice cream and served with gula Melaka. The aroma of the desiccated was strong that I could smell it as it was coming to my table. The texture of pancake was average and pandan aroma is faint but overall, it's still a dish that I would have again.

Pancake Dreams Alot of work went into concocting this dish! I was really shocked at how much I was getting for Rm19! There were about 4-5 pancakes and a generous amount of ice cream + a cone😂. Not forgetting the strawbie chunks and cookie crumbs. The strawberry sauce wasn't the best that i've tasted but it wasn't too bad as well! Things to note: pancakes weren't as fluffy as i liked them to be and theres a hint of cinnamon in this dish as well.

Decent brunch spread for three. Think pandan pancakes topped with caramelized bananas, toasted desiccated coconut, served with a side of coconut ice cream and gula melaka syrup. Or if you prefer something savoury, grilled chicken breast, mozzarella cheese, sautéed mushroom, canned pineapple and pesto sauce nicely tucked in a tortilla. Both priced at RM18.

Tiki Taka is my new favourite haunt in Damansara Heights. They've got a Nutella Bacon starter that is to die for. Nutella and bacon in one dish? Yes, a million times, yes!! For An Asian Take On Tapas Bukit Damansara's newly opened Tiki Taka specialises in Asian-accented tapas and pintxos (small plates). Coupled with its splendid al-fresco area and a broad drinks list, the restaurant and bar is a no-brainer for dinner and drinks with friends. Dip deep-fried mantous into the sweet and spicy Singapore Chili Prawns Tapas (RM24) and share an eight-inch Char Siu Pork Pizza (RM20) — fusing japanese cucumber, spring onions and caramelised char siu with cheddar and mozzarella. More of these elevated mini-delights like the Crab and Cheese Bun (RM9) and Indian-style Dabeli Tart (RM6) fill the menu so come with adventurous (and hungry) friends! For Pinxtos And Tapas With An Asian Twist Sitting handsomely on the corner of Medan Damansara’s best food row, Tiki Taka opened its doors a few weeks ago to serve the locals a wide range of pinxtos (small savoury snacks commonly eaten in northern Spain, RM3-9) and more than 10 types of tapas (RM18-24). Safe to say that good things sure come in small packages. My pick from this loot is the flavoursome Singapore Chilli Prawns Tapas (RM24) served with deep-fried mantou buns. There were at least four luscious prawns in this thick potage! Other menu highlights include Asian-style Surf-and-Turf, Thai chicken with kaffir lime prawn (RM18), creamy slipper Lobster in a charcoal brioche bun (RM9), Crab & Cream cheese bun (RM9). There are also pizzas, a full-fledge weekend breakfast menu and two curated dinner menus that all demand two or more visits back. Def a place to keep in mind for when you’re out with a group with a seemingly impossible list of cravings.
