📍The Glasshouse, Chijmes
🎂 Basque Burnt Cheesecake $8++
It was really good! Definitely worth trying out if you’re there and craving something sweet. It’s the only cake on the menu and it’s definitely worth trying 🤩
Overall, the place has a really nice ambience! Really relaxed and laid back. There was nothing exceptionally outstanding about the food but if you’re in the area, it’s a nice place to visit nonetheless. I didn’t manage to try their coffee tho so I may be back to try that soon 😋
📍The Glasshouse, Chijmes
🥔 Truffle Tatertots $13++
The truffle tater tots were average, not overly oily but lacked the wow flavour as well. Truffle taste was mild as well.

📍Rrooll, Jewel Changi Airport
📣 Calling all cinnamon roll lovers, this deal is for YOU!
My all time favourite cinnamon rolls for sure 😍 Each roll goes for $3 and it is definitely worth the price! Would recommend trying the Classic Cinnamon and the Garlic Onion Cheese!
I didn’t think I would like a savoury roll but it was definitely the highlight 🤤
Sadly, they been taken off Burpple Beyond 😭 but would still recommend trying as I definitely feel it’s worth the price nonetheless!
📍Dumpling Darlings, Simon Road (Kovan)
🥟 Smoked Duck ($8.90) & Fried Pierogi ($8.90)
A close second for me would be the smoked duck dumplings 🤤 It doesn’t have a strong duck taste for those who aren’t a fan of strong meats! Some extra fried pierogi on the side was a must have 😋
Overall, would highly recommend! They currently have a cloud kitchen in Lola’s cafe at Kovan! We ordered self pickup on Grab for 30% off and the total came up to $21.50!
📍Dumpling Darlings, Simon Road (Kovan)
🥟🍜 Bento Special - Braised Pork Noodles & Fried Pierogi ($15.90)
💯 quality and sooo affordable! Would definitely recommend ordering. My fav dumplings would definitely be the fried pierogi 😍

📍Zhang Liang Mala Tang, Bugis Junction
💯 Mala Tang!
They have a wide range of less commonly seen ingredients to choose from (including fish roe ball, scallops, prawns, fish and a whole lot more!)
You’re charged per 100g here instead of the items you take! It costs $2.88 per 100g (min. 300g) and you’re able to choose your soup base (mala, mushroom and tomato)!
They have a condiments section on the side where you’re able to add on more ma, more la, sesame oil, sesame sauce etc! (think haidilao condiments section but for mala instead 😋) This place is great for everyone as you’re able to control the spice levels for each bowl!
The soup was sooo tasty, would recommend trying it before adding anything further! My bowl came up to $13.87 which was really worth it considering the amount of meat i added 😍
I really enjoyed this MalaTang, it was creamy and not too oily! Will definitely be back for more 🤤😍
📍 Lino’s Pizza & Pasta Bar, Shaw Centre
Back at this outlet for the 2nd time using Burpple Beyond (it was previously 1 for 1 but they’ve changed it to 20% off as of 1 Jan 2022) 😭😭😭
We ordered the Mixed Meat Pizza ($24) and Truffle macaroni & cheese ($17)
The pizza was decent, my favourite thing is definitely the crust! The crust is thin and crispy and holds the sauce really well! 😍 I appreciated that the pizza wasn’t overly salty as some other meat pizzas tend to be 🥴
Overall, would stick to the Burrata pizza and their pizzas in general! I haven’t found a pasta of theirs that’s worth ordering again! I probably won’t be back as often given that they’re now only giving 20% on Burpple but still a place to note if you’re looking for a meal in orchard!👌🏻☺️
P.S. water is chargeable at $0.50 per refillable cup and do make a reservation, the queues get really long
📍Chimichanga, Little India
🐄🌯 Ancho Beef Chimichanga ($18++)
A deep fried wheat tortilla wrap over amarillo rice and cheese. Topped with salsa verde, crema and poco de gallo! the beef was really tasty but the other aspects of the dish were pretty average. would recommend trying other options instead!
overall, i will definitely be back for their tacos! 🤤♥️ i heard their quesadillas are really good so will be back to try those! 👍🏼
📍Chimichanga, Little India
🐟🌮 Boraccho Fish Taco Trio ($16++)
Definitely the standout dish! The fish was cooked perfectly and maintained its crispy exterior despite taking it away! Would highly recommend ordering this! 😍
overall, i will definitely be back for their tacos! 🤤♥️ i heard their quesadillas are really good so will be back to try those! 👍🏼
📍 Long House Soon Kee (Boneless) Duck Rice, Balestier Market
Hands down the best duck noodles I’ve tried 🙌🏼 I love both their duck rice ($4) and duck noodles ($4)! Portion size for rice is bigger than the noodles! The duck meat is tender and the sauce is so good - make sure to opt for chilli with your noodles as well 👌🏻
Would highly highly recommend trying, definitely a place worth travelling to! 😍
PS: do try to avoid the lunch crowd (12 pm ish) and do take note that they also sell out by about 6pm daily!
📍Columbus Coffee Co, Upper Thomson
Ordered the Mentaiko Salmon Don ($18.20 nett) for my latest visit to Columbus! It was definitely tasty, the salmon was cooked well and the cherry tomatoes paired really well! Portion size was good and definitely one of the more filling options!
Overall, it was really tasty but I still prefer their Carbonara and Salmon Soba noodles 😋
📍Clinton Street Baking Company & Restaurant, 31 Purvis Street
🧇 Chicken & Waffles ($21++)
The dish was served with warm maple butter too and it was really good! There was just the right balance between sweet and savoury
Overall, would recommend trying! They’re currently having a promotion - 50% off the 2nd main all day for weekdays! 💯
