Omg I love this!!! Also at Fu Sin, they have this charcoal Mee sua that was super good?! I never like mee sua cause I always find them too plain and too nua?? Comes with charsiew and egg (Mee sua version of ramen maybe???) anyhoo just try it!! đđ
Located near Hougang Ave 1 is Fu Sin Traditional BKT, cause we were pretty sick of NAS's BKT so we decided to try something new! As compared to the latter, it was also slightly cheaper. The side dishes - tau gey (with salted fish was very crunchy and has the taste of home - my fave side dish), you tiao (fried dough sticks), omelette with minced meat, braised peanuts and blanched lettuce. Overall the BKT was very tasty, the meat was soft and tender (and the portion was very worth the $7.5)
Famed for their range of burgers, I would have had a hard time deciding which to try but with so many people around - "one of everything pls" đđ my favorite would be "the works". The buns were all nicely buttered and fluffed giving it a nice chew, sandwiched between was 100% juicy and flavorful beef patty, baby spinach, weaved bacon, Parmesan crisps, sliced tomatoes, beer Caramelized onions, guacamole and their signature master sauce.
Mozzarella stuffed meatballs - gooey mozzarella filled in homemade meatballs with a springy texture covered tomato chutney, sriracha glazed chicken meat balls - not exactly my thing, but the meat was tender, and umami fries - straight cut fries dusted with their secret umami powder, my favorite of all the appetizers, the fries didn't turn soggy after all the photos and was still crispy on the outside đ
Only the best đ
Banana beignet - think of donut balls stuffed with bananas and doused in condense milk, the new kind of goreng pisang. They make me love greens with their aburi broccoli and I never knew how good salted egg goes with sweet potato until I've tried theirs. Their beef don wasn't my kind of dish tho....
