Authentic Italian Food Managed to get reservation and ordered few dishes such as pizza ($10), fried rice ball ($9), porchetta ($10), parmigiana ($15) & tiramisu ($16). For the quality, I would say the price is reasonable and really worth it

Amaretti They have a section of Italian bakes. This is an almond cookie that's soft inside. The almond whiff was very strong so I'm not a fan.

1f1 tasting portion Tried the lamb ragu and the mentaiko pasta. We chose the pumpkin Pasta with the ragu sauce but we felt another pasta would have went better with the rich sauce. I love the lamb sausage too with the feta. The mentaiko was nice as usual. We also tried the mushroom soup but it was pretty mid. Very worth work burpple deal!

Tiramisu ($8.90) Small and it was served just in a small container. The alcohol taste was quite strong and the mascarpone was sweet and creamy, but we couldn’t really taste the coffee in it. All in all, average and not memorable.

Ragu ($25.90) with Beetroot Lunghi I thought this would look better but the aesthetic was a bit lacking. The portion was also small and the beef was tough. The beef cubes were flavourful, but very tough (full of tendons that were very tough to bite). The sauce for this was quite watery too and didn’t stick to the beetroot Lunghi well.

Harry's Spiced Fries Crispy, well-seasoned fries served with a thick jalapeño cheese dip that packs a creamy kick. The spice is mild but noticeable, enough to keep things interesting without overwhelming. Simple, snacky and great for sharing 》$9

Truffle Shrooms Thin crust, stretchy mozzarella and a mix of truffled mushrooms, giving it an earthy and savoury flavour. The arugula adds a fresh lift that keeps things balanced 》$24

Surfer's Aglio Olio Garlic, chili, furikake and seaweed tossed through spaghetti make for a light yet flavourful base. The tiger prawns were fresh with a nice crunch, giving the dish a satisfying bite 》$24

Katsu Don ($12.80) The pork cutlets were slightly tough to chew, there wasn’t much egg and the rice was quite dry and tasteless. I wouldn’t recommend this dish - perhaps give the others a go. We got this with the Burpple 1-for-1 deal, which makes it very affordable. It comes with a small bowl of miso soup as well. Do note the prices on the menu do not include service charge and GST. Staff were friendly, and the decor of the place is pretty cozy and Japanese-themed. We visited on a weekday evening and easily managed to get seats for two.

Kitsune Udon ($12.80) Nothing outstanding, just a bowl of comforting udon in soup. I loved that it was served piping hot, every sip of the warm dashi broth sent a gentle, soothing wave through my body. The fried tofu, fish cake and scallions were great accompaniments. Cha Shu Ramen Burpple beyond 1 for 1 menu includes only donburi, ramen and curry rice! Take note before you go down for your meal. At $13+, this dish has really thick 3 slices of cha shu pork, cooked in a very Chinese fashion. Satisfying.

Burpple Set No frills restaurant! Small space (have to walk sideways to the table) with about 2-3 tables. The soup had salmon, clams and mushrooms added. The salad is normal, just filler. The mains are worth it too. I prefer the mentai choices instead of the signature one. But I wouldn't mind coming back again. About $38+/- total after gst

vv worth burpple beyond set!! for mains, we had the kei signature kaisendon & mentaiyaki kaisendon. there was a wide variety of chirashi! i personally preferred the mentai don for the char on the seared sashimi and mentai mayo😋😋 sides that came with the set include: - yakitori - salad - clam miso soup (too thick but generous w ingredients) - hot green tea

Burpple Set $29.90++ small place with only 2 tables for dine-in. mentaiyaki kaisendon is good. big cubes of sashimi with torched mentaiko sauce. miso soup is nice.

Double Scoops I ordered blue pea chrysanthemum & valrhona chocolate (under experimental) and uji matcha hokkaido milk (under gourmet) for double scoop ($11) and didn't expected that their ice cream got really interesting and unique taste tbh. But blue pea chrysanthemum & valrhona chocolate taste like herbal tea with chocolate fusion lol whereas uji matcha hokkaido milk taste like matcha (quite sweet but not much bitter) covered up with milk taste. I noticed that blue pea chrysanthemum & valrhona chocolate didn't melted off whereas uji matcha hokkaido milk melted off too fast after 10 to 20 mins inside the shop. I wanted to give a try for other flavour under experimental and gourment next time instead of classic because they was quite creative in fusion flavour tbh

Banana Walnut Brownie is a 100/10 Wished the Hojicha scoop was below instead so I can emphasise that the Banana Walnut Brownie scoop is the one that I'm writing this review for. Not to say the Hojicha was bad, but the Banana Walnut Brownie was just *MUACKS* CHEF KISS! Full-on banana flavours with every bite and it just pairs so perfectly with the crunchy walnuts and chewy brownie. Guaranteed everyone will like this except for those banana haters (and those allergic to nuts D:)

Ice Latte & Carrot Cake Not bad a deal with burpple beyond’s 1-1 for drinks. The cakes are affordable at around $4, and taste pretty decent as well.

Kumquat Tea / Pineapple Passion Fruit Tea A relatively new cafe that serves beverages and cakes in International Plaza. They were busy at the time I visited and there are some teething issues. We ordered 2 cups of kumquat tea but were given pineapple tea instead and when we notified them about the wrong order, they still got the replacement wrong and we decided to take it coz we were running late. The fruit tea here is freshly made with fresh fruit upon order. They were refreshing and a thirst quencher on hot and humid weather. The fruits were mashed into smaller bits so that it can be consumed with the drink through a straw. They also included white pearls in both beverages. They are having some promotion right now and we were charged for a medium cup with free upgrade to a large cup. Thanks to Burpple Beyond, we get to enjoy 2 Beverage for the price of 1 ✌ (U.P $5.50/large)

Unagi Don Slice of grilled freshwater eel glazed with eel sauce served on a bed of rice, onsen egg, red pickled ginger then topped with nori and white sesame seed. The eel was tender with slightly crisp skin. The addition of onsen egg adds creaminess to the bowl 》$19.90

Bara Chirashi Don A generous portion of sashimi cubes with a good selection of raw fish. The fishes were fresh and it also comes with salad and miso soup to complete the meal. It’s not the best but worth considering if you want somewhere decent and quiet to satisfy your donburi cravings 》$19.90

Salmon Sashimi (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) These insanely thick-cut slabs (or chunks, for that matter) will set you back for $16 a plate, but the rich fattiness and melt-in-the-mouth texture of the fresh salmon slices was to die for! The sweet mirin/soy sauce marinate makes it even more decadent though it can get quite surfeiting due to the thickness, so it's best shared with your friends!⁣

Chicken Curry Katsu (⭐️⭐️⭐️) The Chicken Katsu Curry is also decent with a crispy chicken cutlet and robust curry sauce, though a larger portion & more veggies other than the sad carrot smidgens would have made the dish even better.

Mentai Don (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) Can't go wrong with their Salmon Mentaiko Don either! The salmon slices were well seared on the outside while slightly raw on the underside, and the smoky char on the mentaiko sauce elevated the umami flavours.
