The burnt cheesecake is actually from Keong Saik bakery. Durian taste is strong but you can still taste a hint of the cheese cake. However, when the desserts are just served, they are slightly frozen so do take your time to consume it as its much nicer when its thawed.
Am a loyal customer of the shop. While the food didn't disappoint as usual, one of the staffs was very rude and sort of forced us to buy their drink saying that we aren't allowed to drink our own plain water...
Value for money and decent portion of swiss food. You will be able to mix and match the protein and carbs on the menu! Each set starts at $14.90 and some ingredients cost abit more (eg rossi +$2). With burpple beyond, we paid $22.40 for 2

Waiting really long (around 45mins) to get a seat. The queue management was poor as the number after us was called first. However, the food was very decently priced. $18.80 includes everything shown in the photo (burpple 1f1). The dumplings and drinks were very unique and appetising. However, we took the outside seats and it was very pressurising to eat fast due to the long queue and not the best of ambience as it was by the road. Would probably visit again without the queue and with better seats!
Service/ambience: 6/10 poor queue management and really bad seats

I expected it to be a rather oriental shop and literally walked past it as it is quite a hipster bar! Food was great and on point. Shao rou was super nice, just hope that it can be abit crispier. However, things were on the pricey side, especially the prawns which cost $16++ (there were only 3 prawns)

Ambience - 6.5/10 if you like rock music and bar setting while having your oriental food then its good. Environment is abit dark
Service - 8/10 prompt service though it was full house. Free water, pork lard and plain soup
Value for money - 6/10 even with burpple 1f1, 2 people spent $39.
Cakes and tea were awesome! However, the chocolate cake (Le Mmm) was slightly moist at the base. I'm not sure if it is not fresh or it's normal as I've never seen a cake like this before.. overall, the ambience is good and the service is also great! The cakes and tea in the picture cost $15.40 after using burpple 1f1. Not to mention the tea can be refilled once. Definitely a nice place to impress your date without breaking the bank!

The fish and chips was so-so. Iberican pork burger had pork that smelt a little too "porky". However, the fries was quite nice. Serving was quite big too we were very full from it. They have different menus for dinner and lunch/brunch and the latter seems more appetizing. The waitresses were quite friendly. You might want to come here if you want a chill ambience and is not super picky about food.

Had really high expectations for the food here because of the ultra appetizing menu. However, when they served the food, I got a little disappointed. Portion was very small. The bowl itself was already small and the unagi was very little (unlike what was shown in the menu- the unagi filled up the entire bowl and covered the rice). Taste was not bad but it's just like any ordinary don you'd find. I used the burpple 1f1 but that meant that the don will not come with the salad bar and miso soup. But even with the 1f1, it was not value for money.

This is already my third time here and I foresee multiple visits even if I run out of 1f1 deals! It is super value for money (we paid around $42 for 2 pax, incl of drinks - top up $3 each). 2 diners can order 1 grilled fish and all the items on their lunch menu (which is really a great variety). For dinner buffets, you can order everything on their extended menu (that has seafood).

This is my second time here! The soup base was very good, especially laksa! The buffet spread is superb and they even have prawn paste chicken and fried pork.
However, the service was quite slow and they are severely short of manpower on a Friday night. I would recommend to go on a non-peak hour as the service can be quite good
The pork belly was not tender at all and was actually quite hard to chew. In addition, as we were told to let the staff do the bbq-ing and that they were somewhat short handed, most of our meat were charred (as seen in the photo). Most of the meat weren't appetizing as they were burnt and tough..
However, I must say that the kimcheese fried rice and truffle egg are worth a try.
