Nice juicy lobster meat. Comes with fries, salad and a buttery sauce. Good service and have a nice view of the vortex. It is a great lobster roll but Luke’s Lobster is Tokyo is still the best one that we have tried.
Very nice unagi easily one if the best i have tried in Sg. The salmon skin salad and crispy been were surprisingly nice too.
Requested to take order 5 times and none of the staff wants come over. One of them finally took our order after we sounded our unhappiness. The restaurant was seriously understaffed with just two servers. Get more people if understaffed. Moreover, the staff started blaming one another in full view of the restaurant patrons. When we thought the worst was over, orders came wrong. It was a really unpleasant dining experience.
Based on the various feedback on facebook, it seems that this problem has been around for years. The management should seriously do some rectification work instead of paying mere lip service to the various feedbacks.
NZ Butter Masala Chicken and NZ Lamb Ragu with Gremolata. Both are very nice.
Masala chicken is a non-spicy tomato curry where Lamb Ragu taste more like a stew.
Until 4th Oct only
KL Style Char siew rice and noodles at Old Airport Road Hawker. Very fatty char siew that melts in your mouth. Goes really well with the chicken rice and hakka noodles, but found it too salty if you just have it alone. Sio Bak was "so-so". Noodles were soft and it reminds me of a thinner version of ban mian. We prefer the noodles over the rice, probably because i made the mistake of pouring the extra sauce onto the rice, making it extremely salty 😅 $3.80 each for the noodle and rice, add $1.20 for extra char siew or sio bak or you can order just their roast meat in 100g, 200g or 300g.

Knew the porridge wasn't enough to fill me up.
So we added a kosong prata and a plaster prata. The pratas were crispy and the curry matches really well!
The plaster was alittle soggy on the egg side thou. Prefer the normal egg prata i had previously and also the kosong prata is a must have.
Slice fish porridge and century eggs minced meat porridge (both for $6.50 with added eggs). Taste plain without adding the soya sauce and pepper. Once those were added, the porridge came to life.
Porridge were thick and have good amount of ingredients. Not too bad.
One bowl wasn't enough for me thou. 😅
Had the double scoops white chrysanthemum and lychee raspberry flavours ($7.70) in cone (+$1). Love their white chrysanthemum! Unique and refreshing with very familiar chrysanthemum fragrant.
Lychee raspberry had a stronger lychee flavour. Feels a little "jerlat" towards the end because it is on the sweeter side.
Their thyme Cone were made fresh on the spot. It is on the softer (brittle) side, not something i will rave about thou.
Great ice cream overall!
Wanted to try the Tonkatsu Burger but it was sold out. Ordered the wagyu burger ($13), black pepper chicken burger ($7) and the fried chicken wings ($4 for 2pcs) instead. The bun was nice however, the rest was just decent.
Available in $2.50 and $3.50 portion. Ordered the $3.50 one. Good amount of ingredients and noodles. Not too bad for a neighborhood stall. What i feel lacking is the punch in the "lor" itself. Not "sticky" and taste not "gao" enough for me. What i like is the Tiong Bahru market traditional kind.
All their platters were sold out when we visited in the evening. First time here so we randomly ordered whats on the menu. 😂 And We did not regret after!
The bbq meat here were superb! Had the chicken wings, chicken tenders, angus beef ribs, pulled pork, and sweet potato fries. All were tender, juicy and had its own unique flavours. Worth it!
