Thai Accent@Vivocity:

Quite chill place, Thai music, designed Abit atas but Thai style.
Red Ruby($4.90): 8/10 Shocked at first becos it don't look like it has anything red(Altho I'm not Fully color blind), coconut flavor is obvious. Chestnut is crunchy and sweet. Jackfruit provides the sourness to the dessert. Legit Red Ruby.
Food is nice but nothing mind-blowing. Would distance affect how many times I come here,YES. One of the best Thai food Eva? Nope.

1)Glass Noodles with Tiger Prawn in Claypot($19.90): 8/10 Strong glass noodle smell. Fragrant, Abit chewy, appreciate the crunch by garlic. Mushroom is big and chewy, bouncy too. Prawn is Abit lackluster, can't taste much of flavor but it is meaty. The head was flavorful and crunchy, vinegar helps to give it a boost in flavor.
2) Spring Rolls($9.90): 8.25/10 Strong Herby smell. Rolls are fragrant, flavorful and crunchy. With Thai sweet chili, it gives the rolls sweetness and Abit of spiciness. It makes almost no difference. Carrot, onion and radish Are fresh and crunchy, they even salted them,so they don't taste plain.

Thai Iced Tea($6): 7.5/10 They used Thai tea powder, can taste the gula melaka. Ok,not too sweet.

$11.10 Premium Butterscotch Pecan Ice cream with Cookie and cream waffle@Oblong:
#JonApproves
Place is quite compact, dark with warm lights. Music is chill, making the place quite chill to hang out with friends.
8.25/10 Ice cream is Abit milky, smooth and nutty. Waffle is crunchy, it is of adequate softness. Ice cream with waffle is sweet and savory.

Oyster Bank:
#JonApproves
The place is quite small,a hidden gem within Funan Mall. It is a bar with good oysters, but one thing is for sure, it isn't a bank, unless it has a lot of oysters.
Naked Oysters($2 each): 9/10 Fresh, maciam freshly caught from the sea, better than oyster omelette, Abit chewy and it is cold, which awakened moi senses. Oyster smell isn't too strong as well.
Mentaiko Tobiko Oysters: 9.25/10 They are impressive,Abit salty but umami siol.
Basil Oysters: 9.25/10 They have crunchy texture becos of the fried Garlic which perfectly flavors the oysters.
All the oysters warmed moi heart during the cold season.

8.5/10
They used Basmati rice. Otah is nice. Nuts&ikan bilis are crunchy and not too salty. Egg is alright. Chili is Abit sweet and spicy, it takes some time to take effect. Cucumbers are crunchy and fresh. Chicken is crispy and flavorful. Like a small little Nasi Lemak from Changi village is at Tampines.

This place is instagrammable, solid food, really setting standards for Thai food in SG.
Rice($1 each bowl) - 8.75/10 Rice is fluffy and stickness of it is just enough when combined with green curry. Flavor is well compatible with rice.

Green Curry Chicken($12) - 8.75/10 Like that the button mushrooms surprised me, the bounciness of them. Chicken is not bad, cooked right. Eggplants are fresh. Lemongrass flavor is prominent. Soup fills like got small pockets of air bubbles that embraces the tongue, really interesting texture.
Chicken wings($10) - 8.5/10 Smells full of Thai spices. Chicken is tender and spices envelops around the meat. Skin is crunchy at times. Chili is sour and spicy at back of throat but did nothing to help better the chicken. If Oni the meat was fall off the bone kind,it'll be better.

Mango Sticky Rice($6) - 9.25/10 Wait for it is of about 15minutes. Mango is sweet, brings me back to the one I had in Thailand, the addition of cereal atop of sticky rice adds the crunchy texture to an already sticky rice, almost akin to the nuts atop sticky rice in Thailand. Coconut sauce is good. Well done, gold standard for Mango sticky rice in SG.

6.5/10
Due to the the expensiveness and most of the food not hitting the mark, that is the score I give. Service was weird, sometimes they will pause and kinda make things awkward when clearing the tables or pouring the tea into the cups. Not very friendly but maybe it is monsoon season so they are lidat??
Asparagus are crunchy & Sweet potato are meh. Not much flavor. Could have used more salt.
Venison Meat is ok
Sweet&sour pork is ok.
Peking Duck with wrap is nice but not better than Imperial Treasure@Capitol. Cucumbers were not as crunchy.
Noodles cooked with Peking duck meat was not bad.
Buo Luo Bao is crisp and meat is nice, flavor is there but Abit lacking of something.
Chicken feet is spicy and sweet.
Pork ribs are nice.
Egg tarts are nice, got the eggy taste.
Chee cheong fun is meh.

8/10 We had Sambal Kang Kong which is not bad, Cai Po Omelette(it was mind-blowing, Abit salty but that made the world if difference to the dish), Deshelled Prawns were meaty and covered nicely with the sauce, Yang Chow Fried Rice was nice, not too salty, hearty plate of fried rice. Lastly, Indonesian Black Pepper Crab, surprisingly, the crab wasn't the best for me, it had not a lot of meat for a 700-900g crab, meat wasn't that flavorful not was it that tasty. It was alright. If I were to return,I'd probably order normal Tze Char. Altho they serve Mookata also, interesting siol.
