Grilled Chicken & Couscous (RM25) Marinated chicken breast, mint yoghurt and greek salad on couscous. The chicken was so juicy and full of flavour! Loved everything on this plate.

Having opened this place with their son Ted Boy as inspiration, the owners of Tedboy refrain from using preservatives in their breads, and give unsold breads to charity daily. Their love for wholesome food is evident, and you're bound to feel better after dining on their simple, hearty breads, sandwiches and croissants. Go for the salmon mango croissant, a well-matched combination that's set off by the buttery, flaky pastry. End your meal with their chocolate fudge brownie that is pretty intense, perfect for chocolate lovers!

Fowl Luck This is probably the one dish I order repeatedly here whenever I’m craving for a simple roast chicken. Roasted thigh leg served with herbed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, olives, mushroom and salsa gravy. The mushroom gravy is quite addictive with a hint of truffle. RM26 per serving.

Alio Oglio When was the last time you saw alio oglio this colourful? It’s as good as it looked. Will definitely come back for this.

Nasi Lemak - Salted Egg Yolk Nasi lemak with salted egg yolk fried chicken. It definitely came with more keropok but everyone dived into it before I could take a pic! Loved how they serve it with kangkung and petai sambal. Friendly advice: Have some mint after petai 😉

Beef Nachos With Garlic Aiole Beefy. The garlic aiole is to die for Wished the nachos were home-made (like chilly's). Im pretty sure they used whatever nachos brand we could get in 7-11 7.5/10

Black Spider Fried Rice Fried rice with soft shell crab and ebiko at the side. This is a really satisfying dish.

Caramel Flavored Milk First of all I have to say I am not a big fan of caramel but even my brother who ordered this drink have to admit that it was way too sweet. I very much preferred the hazelnut option I tried previously.

Porky Pancake Fried egg, bacon, potatoes on top of 2 pieces of pancakes. Overall the dish as a whole is pretty good. I mean for staters, you can't go wrong with bacon. But what I love most in this dish is the potato. Really really well done.

Chicken Omelette (RM2.65) Eggs with mozzarella cheese and chicken! Wrapped in wax paper and served just like that. You could also have beef or lamb instead of chicken.

Mac & Cheese (RM10.05) Mac & Cheese with Chicken served in a small black fondue pot. Makes you feel like you're a witch brewing up a potion! Haha!

Brownies With Ice Cream (RM6.35) Brownies, topped with Vanilla Ice Cream and Whipped Cream, and chocolate sauce. It was sweet but not too sweet. It wasn't at all dense or heavy.

Sachipapas Fries If you like fries, check this out out. It comes with chicken chorizo and caramelised onions. Reminds me poutine because of the onions. This is RM19.

Salsa & Chips Snacks to start off with. Love the salsa! It comes with chopped jalapeños. You can’t really see much of it but man, its spicy! Definitely “woke” me up at first bite. This is RM15.

For BBQ and Beers Nicely tucked behind rows of shophouses in Taman Desa, this fairly obscure Japanese BBQ spot is just perfect for a get-together with your best friends on a cool evening. Getting here early is essential to scoring a seat as it fills up pretty fast. Enjoy a night of grilling ribeye, pork belly, lamb and vegetables over a traditional charcoal grill, and knock a few cold beers back to cool off. It gets a little pricey if you want to really fill your belly, and dinner can take a few hours so don't come here for a quick meal. Grab your best friends after a tiring day at work, and slowly unwind at this rustic gem!

Yes, You See Pesto (again) Call me boring but once I'm hooked on something, it's forever till my taste buds yell for something new. Cant teally find any faults in the pesto pasta with grilled chicken at Ben's as the taste hits the right spot and portion is pretty huge, imo. Quiet restaurant to have your meals!

For Macadamia Cheesecake Sundae One step into Ben's and your mood will be lifted instantly with its cheery decor and long list of desserts. While you might feel spoilt for choice, don't waste any time and head straight for the Macadamia Cheesecake Sundae. This sinful, messy creation will have you scooping chunks of macadamia cheesecake together with ice cream and caramel into one perfect mouthful. If what you crave is chocolate, then the super rich Chocolate Truffle Torte is the perfect choice.
