I always love to come here for Japanese pasta. This is one of their October specials and I love the taste of it! Creamy sauce with mushroom, clams and prawns.
Situated in KD, Fifth Palate serves hearty breakfasts from Turkish Baked Eggs to Ramen! I have heard good reviews so far and decided to try the Butcher's Breakfast (RM 29) a pan filled with sausages, hash browns, ham/bacon, portobello mushrooms, eggs, cherry tomatoes, rye bread and (the must-try) chutney!! It was a delightful meal, and I definitely recommend anyone to come here 👍🏻
Had a taste of Le Pont Boulangerie's Signature Sandwich of Smoked Salmon, Tuna Egg, Beef and Vegetarian. It comes with a can of seaweed-flavored fries (a little salty to my taste) and small bowl of salad. I am quite pleased with the taste of the sandwich and it's presentation. Tasted well, and is quite filling even for one person! Le Pont has a good range of pour over coffee to try. I had a mocha, and it was alright, just a little too sweet for my taste.
Located around Cheras Hartamas, this is a petit, part-cafe part-shop cafe that has a homely feeling. I liked the mocha, and it's chocolate is good. Cake was not that great however. If you would like to chill in a quiet cafe in Cheras, this would be one of it!
This one is really burning hot in spicy-ness.. But I love how it has a tinge of like that makes it so good. I find the sour cream cheese dips really yum too and it helps to tame the spicy flavor. For RM12.68 I would recommend this to anyone.. And the chicken is quite easy to eat, chewy and tender. It is served with celery and carrots, in case u need to tame your tongue 👌🏻
Something like the same concept as Boat Noodles, Big Spoon gives you a variety of Chinese inspired dishes in a 'big spoon'. For RM 1.90 the portion is worth it, and the taste was quite good. The restaurant has gst, and is usually not crowded if you wish to try 👍🏻
A cosy-chill cafe in Section 17, PJ, Jeq in The House serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and a good dose of coffee. I find the food and portion alright for the price (RM 15) the coffee (RM 6) was on the sour-side, reminding me of Three Little Birds' coffee. My only gripe was that there was a fly that disturbed me while eating.
Macallum Connoisseurs have a space that reminds you of some of the coffee places in U.S. Enter in the large steel doors and you are welcomed in by the baristas by the counter. Dining in is comfortable, and not secluded. With grey-toned walls and wooden stools, it's a cool chill-out place that I certainly couldn't disagree. My coffee was alright, not to say the best.. However, a visit is a must 😊
Located at Bukit Damansara, Huckleberry sets itself apart as an authentic bakery and cafe in the quiet town area. Popularity goes to their much sort for croissant and assortment of breads. I had an ala carte choice of their farmer's bread, mushroom, sausage, and kaya with a cup of flat white. Me and my partner weren't disappointed at all, and enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend this place for bread and breakfast lovers!
Located within Sekeping Victoria, this grungy modern cafe brings old coffeeshop vibes. I like the spaciousness that gives each patron their own secluded space, also AC's choice of interiors and furniture. The hot chocolate did not disappoint, and I highly recommend this place if you need a place to chill 👍🏻
Located at Love Lane, Wheeler's cafe are bicycle-themed with all the ambience of a rustic cafe hideout. It reminded me of The Grumpy Cyclist in PJ, with hanging bike's on the wall and wheel's on ceilings. Definitely worth a visit, though for the cuppa, I'll give it an average 👌
