One of the more affordable high teas in Singapore. You pay for what you get.. cucumber sandwiches were lackluster and the saving grace was the scones and little tarts. Well at least they had free flow tea which were pretty nice.
I really think Mpire at 77 Telok Ayer deserves more customers with its great food and awesome vibes - a respite in CBD! Probably one of the best tasting carbonara I’ve eaten - cheesy and chock full of meat. Plus get one for one with #burpplebeyond
Kele RollCake - One of my favourite roll cake Brand’s in Singapore! Put them in the freezer and they will taste like ice cream cakes 😋😋
Finally tried the truffle Wagyu don ($14.90) at the highly raved @rakkibowl !! Love the onsen egg and strong truffle taste infused into the rice. At this price point it’s definitely worth the price and you can even get 1-for-1 with @burpple beyond
Noodles and meatballs were chewy and good but I didn’t like the overpowering taste of the soup. Service here was great though!
It was highly recommended but I didn’t find that it lived up to the expectations. Still preferred their good ol burger
This place was flooded by groups during lunch time but I didn’t find it particularly delicious to warrant me coming a second time. The rice though fragrant, was a bit hard. Soup was light and cleansing for the palate. Chicken was nothing much to shout about.
Generous and Instagram-worthy plates here that combine elements of local and western food, like the Har Cheong Kai French Toast ($18) I ate 😋 Price is on the high side but it’s inclusive of GST and you can buy chope vouchers for 10% off! Ideal place for a Sunday brunch and you can hop around the nearby cafes for dessert/coffee after.
Decided to support this humble little outfit nestled in a corner of Katong Shopping Centre - they have really unique local inspired flavours and very tasty too! We got sugar cane with lemon + coconut and gula melaka- both retained the original tastes of its ingredients and were very refreshing indeed 😋 Super worth! Will be back to try their pulut hitam and earl grey flavours next time!
So overpriced but was pretty good!! Very generous with meat fillings and goes well with their own made sauce. Unfortunately some commented that it is way too big for niang tou fu and should be made in smaller bite sized pieces.
Great coffee but so overpriced for a small cup. Could find better mocha at cheaper price elsewhere like Mellower etc
Still so good even after so many years 😋😋 love how it’s so convenient to eat with a spoon too
