For Draft Cocktails And Chill Vibes The way to RAY is up, that is, up the spiral staircase in Petaling Street's Chocha Foodstore. Though very much hidden, this bar feels less like a speakeasy than it does a clandestine nook for pre-dinner drinks. Come by in the evening, when the sunset rays stream into the leafy second floor to create the perfect setting to kick back with a few friends. Drinks are anything but conventional, as the bar pioneers KL's first cocktails on tap. Delight in the Not A Bitch (RM28), a mini highball juggling Carpano Bianco vermouth with coconut, passionfruit, citric acid and sugar. Coy name aside, we love this one for its tangy and refreshing flavours β especially good on a hot day. Those who prefer their drinks potent won't be disappointed with the Rum Negroni (RM28), a triple whammy of Guatemalan rum, vermouth and Aperol. Served with a large block of ice, the drink trickles slowly for an enjoyably strong sip. While in anticipation for a more substantial bar snacks menu slated to launch in coming days, munch on their complimentary bowls of rempeyek or murukku.
Avg price per person: RM30
