$1.80
Yes, your eyes aren't deceiving you. The price of this Lu Rou Fan is $1.80, which is crazily cheap as compared to the prices of all other food in society today.

Topped with a bland soup, the Braised Pork was extremely tender and there was surprisingly no bones in the braised pork, making my dining experience a much better one. When paired with the chili, which gave a punch of spiciness and sweetness and gave much more flavor to the dish, it's simply irresistible! I didn't manage to try the other sides dishes, like the Preserved Vegetable ($2.50) as I was in a rush but I'll definitely be back for more.

Side note, you might an encounter this super friendly and cute uncle who mans the cashier and soup counter! :)

Warning, it's not your usual carbonara! Different people have different tastes; some prefer creamier carbonara, some prefer stickier carbonara. This carbonara is the stickier and eggier one so if you're not a fan of this type of carbonara, don't get this dish!

A plate of spaghetti served with Bacon and Egg, and topped with Jamon Chips, this dish was simply my brother's kind of dish! My brother is a small eater so we had to share this dish with him. The spaghetti was well cooked but the whole dish was really sticky, and the whole dish just tasted yolky. The bacon was crispy and well cooked, and was the hero of the dish.

I, personally, am a fan of the creamier carbonara so this isn't my type of dish, but do go down to try it yourself!

Nabbed this dessert for free as part of their ongoing Mother's Day promotion where mothers get a free dessert and mocktail when they bring 1 child along with them!

They were really generous with the amount of apple compote but it was really just average. The crumble was hard to break through, and required much smashing before it broke loose. The crumbs were nice and crunchy, and the ingredient that made elevated this dish from a bad dish to a mediocre dish as it brought all the elements together.

All in all, I disliked the taste of their apple crumble and I wouldn't recommend having it, but you can definitely come down to try it out yourself!

I still vividly remember the first time having this dish. The perfectly cooked fish that melted in my mouth along with a tasty and generous tomato salsa, slightly overcooked prawns and an average quinoa, but overall, it was still a mouthwatering dish.

I went back to Cedele today, excited and hungry, and I ordered this dish for the second time. Sadly to say, I was highly disappointed. The fish and prawns were seriously overcooked, the tomato ssa was as tasty as before and honestly, the hero of the dish today but Cedele was stingy with the amount that they gave, and the quinoa was as average as ever. Overall, a dry and tough-to-enjoy meal and I'm seriously disappointed. My expectations for this dish have been crushed and I don't think I would order it again.

Service-wise, some of the staff were really lazy. I noticed one of the female staff cleaning up the table and though she spotted some bread on the floor, she didn't bother to clean it up and left it on the floor. And even when my mother left her cup of tea and number tag on the table, she didn't even bother calling us back. The staff gave off a very cold and "sian" attitude other than one of the older staff members, who was hardworking and helpful.

However, I understand that there are "bad days" and maybe, this is just one of the bad days for Cedele. :) Hoping to return with a better experience next time!

For the aesthetically pleasing photo and portion size, I'd say $6.50 for this plate of waffles was definitely worth it.
The waffles were just average and not crispy and the caramel sauce was a tad too sweet for my liking. However, if you're looking for a cozy place to eat aesthetically-pleasing food at an affordable price, this is the place to go!
Zulos sells other desserts, such as Churros which they are well known for as well. I asked the staff there, though, and they mentioned that their waffles sell the best :)

$7 for this cup of milkshake was really worth every penny. The picture does no justice to the actual size of this drink! The milkshake was thick and creamy, and overflowing with goodness. As always, being a huge fan of cookies and cream, I have nothing but praise for this drink.

If you want a bang for your buck and want to quench your thirst, this is the place to go! The drink is really huge though, and is suitable to be shared between two people! :)

Hands down, this place is my favorite Dim Sum place in Singapore. If you don't mind noisy, cramped and a non-posh setting, this is the place for you! It's a bit pricey but definitely worth the price :)

Must-haves!
1) Custard Buns
A bite into the bun and the custard comes flowing out. The taste of the custard is actually addictive so exercise some self control when eating this! It's a must have whenever I come to eat here. If I remember correctly, it comes in a set 5!
2) Crispy Carrot/Radish Cake
If you don't like crispy things, then just order the fried carrot/radish cake but I really love crispy things so naturally, this is one of my favorite dishes here! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, this dish comes in a set of 5
3) Chee Cheong Fun
The sauce is not the typical light sauce gravy that you have at Chinese restaurants. Instead, it is a tasty and thickened sauce poured on top of smaller-like rolls. Some people like it, some people don't but it's definitely worth a shot! This dish comes in a set of 4

There's really a lot to try on the menu so do give everything a shot! Also, the handmade drinks like Sour Plum is really a bang for your buck as the portion is quite big so don't order can drinks while you're here!

$5.50 + $0.50 for Maple and Butter
My little brother's dish and he didn't order ice cream as he was a little under the weather sadly, but I tried the waffles and I couldn't stop. It truly is one of the best waffles I've ever had. It's different from the usual normal type of waffles you get at Sunday Folks and it reminds me alot of Belgian Waffles actually! I would actually come back to try this again, all to myself this time.

I'm a huge huge fan of cookies and cream so this was a dream come true. Cookies and cream brownie topped with cookies and cream ice cream and oreos, what could be any better! The brownie was soft and hot, and they gave a super generous scoop of ice cream as well. The ice cream was actually a little better than average ice creams as it was thicker than usual! A combination of hot and cold, with my favorite flavor, it isn't exactly mindblowingly good but it's good considering the price of it as well!

Only had a bite of this as this is my aunt's dessert but the pudding was really silky and I could taste the smoky taste as well!

Never got to try the burgers here as I always choose to eat Grillo's instead but I finally managed to divert my attention for once and try out the wolf burger!

The bread was crunchy and the meat tender but overall, it still tasted like a normal cheeseburger I could get elsewhere. But as I continued eating, there was something different from this burger than the other burgers I've had. Ah, it's the cheese! The cheese was actually really good, and the best ingredient in the burger personally. However, an mediocre burger for $9.80 is not really worth it to me so I wouldn't come back often.

My friend recently asked me what my favorite food in Singapore was and at that time I didn't know what to answer, but after a short trip back to Grillo's, hands down this is the best food I've ever had in Singapore.

I may like the food in many shops, but not many I would purposely make a trip down for. And Grillo's is a place I would travel all the way there for. It's indescribably amazing with the strong truffle taste to the tender meat with the soft runny egg and amazing sauce to go along with it. This is a place worth my money. Heard Tanuki Raw's beef bowl is better from my friends but until I try that, this is really the best beef bowl/food I've ever had in Singapore.
