Behold! A mountain of shaven black sesame ice. I still find Mei Hong Yuan (Temple Street) the best place to have traditional Chinese desserts.
Aji-ichi is one of those hidden finds in Tampines. Besides being a ramen stall housed within a coffeeshop, they also offer this: Japanese steamboat! Good enough for a family of 7 to share and did I even mention to you they serve Iberico pork too?
What most of us can't do without. A nice cup of hot drink that brings perks to what seems a boring day.

A chocolaty high tea to end our day. Only at Max Brenner can I be assured of an awesomely made hot chocolate.
Cake Spade- A relatively small cafe sitting no more than 10 people both in and out. But what they lack in space, they make up for their variety of desserts.
Somewhere around Tampines, there's this vegetarian hawker stall that does really good cze char dishes. My personal favourite? The mock deer meat stir fry with kidney beans :)

The place to have your kueh quick fix. The only bad thing about them- they sell out pretty fast. By mid afternoon almost everything is gone!
