This set came with jjajangmyeong, tangsuyuk and jjamppong. I loved this dish of jjamppong the most and really enjoyed the spicy kick ! Noodle was the same kind as the jjajangmyeong, nice and chewy still, yet tasted totally different in this spicy broth ! Came with mussels, mushroom, squid and prawns too. Super yummmmy !

Sauce was less sweet and more sour, which was okay, but each piece of meat was coated in batter that I wasn’t used to. Prefer our chinese style 咕噜肉 more haha~ Items were served quickly as well with four side dishes~

My brother liked the jjajangmyeong the most while I felt that the sauce got jelat after awhile, and the ingredients were mostly onions with a bit of minced meat. Noodle was nice and chewy tho ! Cheesecake was warm, soft and gooey as described, a sweet note to end off the meal. However the crust was a little too burnt for my liking, could taste the bitterness of the charred taste.

Ice cream that came with it was a salty flavour and a good pairing with the cheesecake.

Looks unassuming but tastes SO. GOOD. Well worth the $32 for this dish !

Beef was cooked to a medium rare, tender to the bite yet flavourful and well salted.
I don’t like carrots but the carrot puree is a great match with the beef as a “dip”.
Asparagus were crunchy but not tough.

No regrets cause we enjoyed every bit of this dish and we wiped the plate clean ! Will definitely order this again the next time I visit (:

$23 for this dish, but my dinner companion and I both agreed that it wasn’t as wow as we thought it’ll be… horfun was okay, beef was nice ! Slight hints of truffle as described, but it won’t be a repeat order for me.

Friend chose this main as she has never tried squid ink before. But honestly this was quite disappointing.... it tasted more tomato and herb than a squid ink pasta should taste like.

Only upside was that squid was easy to cut into and not too tough. Tomato pieces were also quite tangy and a refreshing taste on the tongue.

But definitely a dish I won’t recommend.... maybe try something else ?

Beef cheeks with mashed potato and sauteed mushrooms. Sauce was good, mushroom was good, mashed potato was lovely... but the beef cheeks fell short of our expectations as it was quite bland and not flavourful. Texture was very tender but that’s about it. My friend felt that it wasn’t worth the price for the 3 lean slices served.

Friend’s main from the burpple set meal (includes 2 wings, miso clam soup, salad & a hot/cold tea!). Salmon was tender and the skin was crisp ! Came with sweet tamago egg & onsen egg. Portion was huge for my male friend who could not finished the rice as well.

$17+/pax for 2pax using the burpple set meal, they have other ongoing promos even if you don’t have the burpple deal~

My main from the burpple set meal (includes 2 wings, miso clam soup, salad & a hot/cold tea!). Huge chunks of assorted sashimi atop a bed of rice, slathered in a thick mentaiko sauce which was super yummy ! Also includes one scallop, one ebi and one mock abalone slice. Portion was huge for me and I couldn’t finish the rice.

Appreciate that the sides were served first while waiting for the mains, which didn’t take long to come ! Paid $17/pax for 2 people using the burpple set meal deal~ I feel that its worth it, and they have other promo sets even if you don’t have burpple.
