Dim Sum Lost count of the number of times I have patronised this place for dim sum! This is the go-to place whenever I feel like eating dimsum, but sick of the dimsum near to my house (there are around 7 famous dim sum shops near my place lol), because the prices here are considered affordable (as compared to the more famous dim sum shops). Was also having sore throat during the day of the visit, hence it explains all the steamed dimsum selected here! The best find was the steamed carrot cake!! It was exceptionally good (have always been ordering the fried carrot cake previously, so happy to discover this gem)! The chee cheong fan was also smooth! The worst item here was the beancurd roll. The fillings seemed pink and sticky... Rather Pricey Dim Sum Highly recommend the steamed carrot cake. Almost like beancurd texture with chinese sausage bits embedded in it. More value for money if u compare with the HarGao & SiewMai The Lo Mai Gai(steamed chicken glutinous rice) was not bad and looks very good as well. Chee cheong fan portion was quite good as well, and texture was silky smooth. Best Steamed Carrot Cake I Have Ever Had! I have never been a huge fan of carrot cake. I had expected this dish to be unimpressively starchy and bland (as usual), but this rendition definitely proved me wrong with its rich flavour profile!!! The pudding-like carrot cake was soft yet bouncy, and contained generous pieces of Chinese cured meat (lap cheong) and fresh radish which gave the dish a very unique texture. The refreshing savoury sauce they doused all over the steamed carrot cake also was a huge flavour boost. I thought it tasted like a stronger version of the chee cheong fun sauce - which I have always been a HUGE fan of! 😂 Taste: 9/10 Price: 10/10 (This huge serving only set us back by $4. I would say most dishes at this humble dim sum eatery are extremely value for money) Ambience: 7/10

Quality Food & Service Thoroughly enjoyed myself here. Steak was amazing, go for the ribeye for greater satisfaction! The red wine elevated the taste of the food. Chocolate lava cake was one of the best I have ever had but steak is the star. Look out for promotions as they are usually very value for money! Service is awesome 😎

Lobster roll This was not on the menu but we requested for our seafood roll to be replaced with only lobster because we just can't get enough of lobsters. I love it when the size of the roll is based on the weight of the lobster flesh. This is unlike restaurants that are stingy with the amount of lobster, and most of the roll is lettuce and heaps of mayonnaise. You can actually taste the sweetness of the lobster with each bite along with the lightly buttered bun and accompanying mayonnaise!

Hot seafood platter Splurged on the hot seafood platter ($150) shared between 2 of us. It was so satisfying especially the lobster! This set comes with salad and fries. It was so huge that the claw was dangling off the plate! The scallops were seared perfectly, buttery and well-seasoned. The baked oysters were also one of my favourites! The tuna was a little too overcooked though. Everything was so fresh there was no trouble clearing every bit of sweet flesh off the crustaceans!

Chilli Crab Pasta Soft-shell chilli crab served with tangy tagliatelle! One of the yummiest dish I've ever eaten, it's fresh (daily catch) and served with friendly service crew. Not forgetting the AMAZING waterfront view of yachts!

Can't believe almost a month has past since we dined at Burnt Ends... 😐 It was tough getting a reservation towards the end of last year, but we were lucky to have scored one! We had an absolutely amazing dining experience. From small plates, main courses, to dessert🍬, the food was exquisitely presented and we loved the combination of flavours. Do try their Blackmores' cube roll🥩...it's THAT good! 😌
