Need to wait for a while around 15 to 20 mins while they made it on spot. best selling flavour for martabak are campur ($8.50) and ovoPOP ($10.90). it was really quite extreme sweet taste for me especially they put a lot of Chocolate Rice and high recommended for sharing with friends if wanted to order

Bakmie Ayam Bakmie Ayam ($6.90) I never tried Jtown but people talked about it a lot of times on the social media. But I decided to order non-spicy dry noodle but turned out braised mushroom & shredded chicken with sweet sauce. The noodle was dent, chewy and qq texture for my opinion but then it's served with soup.

Yummy! Bakmie ayam Cabe Ijo @ $6.90 Green chilli chicken noodle, comes with two chillis on the legend on the menu. But it tastes nothing close to the dish with three chilis. The spiciness is quite mild but the dish is still great! Noodles are handmade and super nicely done and the black sauce (need to ownself add) elevates the dish entirely. While the other dish we had comes with fried chickcen chunks, this is a bit more like minced meat.

Maybe Breakfast but not a dessert Dark Angel ($4.50) is hailed as a milk-chocolate lava that oozes out as one breaks the bread into half. It didn’t ooze unless I pressed it but it was barely almost sufficient for the rest of the bread interspersed with chocolate chips baked into the bread. For the chocolate lover, this Dark Angel just barely scrapes the passing grade but I wouldn’t go out for it specially. P.s also bought the chocolate cruffin ($4.50) but I would skip it next time - it was cold and lifeless like a vampire. ROI: 20% *Note: my taste palate leans towards dark bitter chocolate at a sweet spot of 65%-72% cocoa. So please use that as a gauge of my taste perspective.

French Charcoal Cheese I spotted this already when I’m still queuing, partly because of each interest colour of charcoal bread. So decided to grab this as well. Funnily the texture was harder to bite than I would expected. But I like it actually. Especially when eating it with the generous cheese at the center.

Gem in Lavender with Burpple 1 for 1 mains + drinks!! My 3rd time here and the level of service and quality of food stays superb! We got 4 mains along with 4 mocktails that cost us ~S$24 each. Mains: - Sous Vide Ribeye 🥩 We got a medium doneness and the waiter explain that this is cooked differently - Sous Vide. It was pretty tasty and well cooked. Fries and charred broccoli were bomb. - Smoked Duck Breast 🦆 Most solid item I’ve tried. Honestly thought it’s gna taste the same as mookata’s duck breast, but it proved me wrong - tasty and delish - Classic Lamb Shank 🐑 Pretty gamey imo but I’m a lamb lover, so absolutely enjoyed it and sauce added a flavour bomb - Baked Sea Perch 🐟 This was okay and surprised to see caviar with it. Mocktails were tasty and interesting! Good pair with our mains. 🍸 Overall a great 8/10 experience as the value of our 1 for 1 mains + drinks were great. *some dish can’t be ordered with the deals like the salmon, wagyu etc (those expensive ones) 🤣

mocktails we used a burpple deal which was 1 for 1 for a main + drink (they said we could only order mocktails for this) so we got the mango day spring and summer kiss ($10 each). both were q nice and refreshing but i’m not a fan of these kinds of drinks so this made the deal not so worth for me. my bf rly enjoyed this place and would revisit whereas i found it not bad only but wouldn’t mind trying their other dishes

baked sea perch ($28.00) vv yummy when you combine all the elements of this dish into one flavour bomb of a bite! could do with more sauce though love love love their mashed potato and broccolini in both dishes, super tasty! would eat a whole bowl of mashed potato if i could 🤤🤤

Truffle Mushroom Linguine and Chicken Briyani Terrific truffle mushroom linguine, generous amount of truffle oil used here unlike some places that do truffle pasta. You can taste the truffle very distinctly. Mushrooms were seared to perfection and were very fragrant like how mushrooms which are done properly should taste like. Chicken briyani was just pretty okay, the papadum tasted the best in the dish, crispy with the right amount of bite. Dahl and briyani was a bit flat, and could have been more aromatic.

Dinner @ SPIZE Nasi goreng ayam, mee goreng pattata ($7.9), nasi goreng kampung. I'm not the big fan of mee, so mee was okay, however the egg and the sauce are great! Portebello Burger Nice and soft burger bun with melted cheese n portebello mushroom! Fries is good too! The beef patty wasn’t really to my liking bcos of a particular spice they put but overall, the dish is pretty good.

Halal Restaurant serving Steaks. And Why Cafe at Bali Lane is a halal-certified cafe/restaurant managed by Muslims. They started with serving sandwich, coffee and bakes, but now they're serving halal steaks as well. 🔸 At the media tasting that evening invited by Vince, we has 4 types of steaks - striploin with Tennessee sauce, ribeye with peppercorn sauce, tenderloin with mushroom and garlic sauce, and herb crusted lamb rack with chimichurri sauce. While I didn't like that they cook their steaks to medium well, I love the sauces they've paired with each of the 4 steaks we tried. I suppose we could request for medium rare steaks and this should also be a good option for a halal restaurant that serves steaks.

Laksam kelantan 28.9++ This is good. It does tastes like laksa, in terms of the spices. But it's thicker cos of the minced mackerel i think. Also, it's rice rolls instead of rice noodles The sambal has this particular jammy sweetness that's abit weird but it works when you mix it in However, the price is ridiculous lol
