Super well balanced and not pretentious The service here is excellent . And every single dish we ordered was amazing .

Apple galette The apple was nicely cooked down with sufficient softness and tasted tart. The ice cream was soft and decadent too. Overall the best dish of the night! The corse sugar and cinnamon was the icing on the cake. Wine selection at this restaurant was good too!

Beef with onion pie The beef was over cooked and lacked flavours. If you are expecting melt in your mouth steak, this is not it. The leaks were undercooked so were the onion on the pie. For $90, you can definitely get better beef else where.

Salmon Don The salmon taste normal but salmon portion is rather generous

Grape Ricotta Juicy grapes sitting atop ricotta cheese spread on a fluffy and thick brioche drizzled with lavender-infused honey, topped with grounded pistachio and matcha powder 》$15 Other than looking interesting and aesthetically tasty, I find the taste pretty expectable. The taste of ricotta was light and the scent of lavender was stronger than the taste of matcha powder on the grapes. The grapes were fresh, plump and juicy which did not disappoint. I would say the toast was done so well that it did not turn soggy even till the last bite. Something light and simple yet pleasing.

Interesting and delicious cocktails Service was good too, the staff recommended us drinks based on our preferences and specially arranged them in the nice tiki cups that we wanted!

Baja fish tacos and more! The food here is so so good! All the tapas and tacos were great. The vibes here was also super nice, feels like you’re in a different country.

Sweet potato fries w spicy mayo THIS IS THE BOMBS. The sauce omg so so good. 10/10 recommend, you won’t regret.

No. 4 Galette ($19++) Served with ham, egg, sauteed mushrooms and cheese. There was no sauce so it was abit dry. I was expecting a crispy crepe but the crepe was doughy. It was slightly bitter. The portion is quite filling.

Galettes we went with no.4 Chiffonade of ham, organic egg sunny side up, over sautéed mushrooms, Comté cheese and no.7 French pork sausage, onion confit marinated in 23 cider, old style mustard cream, comte cheese. i enjoyed the pork sausage galette more as i’m not a huge fan of mushrooms.

Lovely cafe with good food First time we tried the famed Galettes and while we didn't love it, it was definitely top notch in terms of taste and quality. Had the No. 3 (Sauteed mushrooms with Comte cheese and a sunny side up, $18) and the No. 8 (Pork pancetta carbonara style with spinach, onions, and sunny side up, $19). Preferred No. 8 as the carbonara sauce gave more flavour to the Galette. As you get to the sides of the Galette though, you just have more of the plain buckwheat flour taste, so do leave some of the fillings for the sides!

Mocha - Caffeine was rather light and had a more chocolatey taste, would prefer it more intense. [6.5/10]

Breakfast sammy - Spam was crispy but a tad too salty. - Egg sauce was fragrant with chives but very creamy rich, which got too heavy for me towards the end of half a sandwich 🍳 [7/10]

Caprese grilled cheese - Combination of cheddar and american cheese gave an ultimate savouriness, with tomatoes and basil cutting the greasiness well. - Caramelised onions gave a touch of sweetness! - Sourdough was freshly toasted till crunchy and crisp on the surface, thicker than the brioche above 🍞 [7.5/10]

Ice cream one for one Two scoops for $5 is rly good for Lau Pa Sat. But you get what you paid for, ice cream isn’t really good quality but decent enough for the price. Got the pistachio and chocolate flavour. Definitely not the best ice cream but at least can get a place to sit in a slightly air conditioned place.

Lovely ice cream flavours! Been here for a few times already and the lychee raspberry flavours really don't disappoint! With the lychee flavour not being too prominent nor too artificial, it is complemented by the citrus raspberry flavours well. Definitely refreshing. I got it with the bandung cone, which surprisingly had a strong floral flavour! Definitely will be back to try other cone and ice cream flavours 😍

Dessert after lunch 🍨 Deal used: 1-for-1 gelato single scoop Got the raspberry lychee 🍧and my friend got the earl gray lavender! The raspberry lychee was really nice! It felt light and wasn’t overly sweet. And I think since the flavor wasn’t very ‘milky’ I didn’t feel so thirsty after (idk if anyone else gets really thirsty after having ice cream or that’s just a me thing…) but I wanna give the other flavors a shot so will try to go back!

Chendol Went for the chendol soft serve with just chocolate drizzle (skipped the pandan jelly and coconut). Creamy and gula melaka heavy but got too sweet halfway through. The usual toppings would’ve helped balance things out and add texture. Portion’s big too and definitely a share-with-a-friend kind of dessert 》$7

Peach yoghurt cheesecake S$ 9 Very refreshing peach flavor topped with popping boba and few slices of peach. Love the peach smell.

Turkish Delight S$ 9 Super chocolatey soft serve, pistachio custard give nutty flavor. The Turkish delight is a bit too hard.

salmon mentaiko & pork belly grain bowls food and drinks were extraordinarily mediocre, but the long service time added to the overall frustrating experience. they're closing at the end of june due to manpower issues, which is apparent in their long wait time (30min for each item). in conclusion, not a store i would recommend.

A good non-alcoholic dark choco ice cweammm WHUTT?! ATTACCKED by the whiff of waffle scent! The $9 double-scooped gelato doesn’t melt easy! This means its fresh~ Its not too sweet even for biccoff flavour, but dark chocolate was definitely down our alley! Will definitely be back if in the area~ Also this place opens till 2am , what a gem ✨

Meh gelato croissant $9.80 for croissant, a scoop of ice cream, a cookie, and whipped cream/choc sauce. Nice presentation but can't say it's worth it in terms of flavour.

burpple 1-for-1 had the satay chicken & spicy chicken wraps with burpple 1-for-1. when i went there were only these 2 options available (no sandwiches or beef), but at a total price of $12 for 2 sets, it's an absolute steal! the chicken was flavourful and the nacho chips were highly addictive. the cafe is small but rather cozy, with neon light decorations adding to the ambience. would definitely recommend checking it out especially with the 1-for-1 deal!

Matcha & Cream Cheese Soft Serve They serve matcha / cream cheese / mix soft serve which I decided to go with the mix to get the combination of both flavours. The matcha flavour was intense with hints of bitterness and the cream cheese flavour is creamy, slightly savoury and salty. These two flavours blended quite well with one another with a mix of different tastes all in one cone. As it is a soft serve, it started melting a little too fast after serving. Thanks to Burpple Beyond, we get to enjoy 2 Soft Serve for the price of 1 ✌ (U.P $4.80)

Shiro Kuma 8.8+Used Beyond White Bear Lemon and choc casing. Not a fan of lemon but this was quite balanced, the rest who love lemon enjoyed this

Match & Cream Cheese Soft Serve I was informed that they are moving to another new place and closing this on 11 Sep after I bought their voucher on Chope. It was a sad news especially there wasn’t any interesting dessert stall at Chinatown Food Street. The soft serve was nice with strong taste of matcha and mixed well with the cream cheese as well.
