Mini ($3), big ($4). Fancied up with coloring, icing, golden sugar and sprinkles, you'd be tasting the Milky Way.
A veritable seafood feast lying in wait under a bubbling, piping hot sweet and spicy gochujang based stew and stringy, chewy mozarella. Dig in to discover ramyeon, toppokki, shrimp clam, black mussel, and squid simmering under the rich and deeply umami sauce. I'm heading back just to order this.
This was a hosted tasting by @joobarsg, thanks @geekyelephant for the invite!
Taste: 4.5/5
It is cheap. Comes with only ice lemon tea. The MAC and cheese is so delicious!
Antoinetteβs well-loved croissant the perfect companion, in the form of a smooth, creamy and decadent salted egg yolk flling oozing out of its light and airy centre.Β

The famed Vatos Urban Tacos in South Korea has opened its first global store in Singapore and is fast becoming the taco of the town. Located on the ground floor of South Beach Complex, Vatos Urban Tacos ("vatos" means "dudes" or "men") occupies this historic armoury building while feeding off its industrial chic facade, with table legs fitted with water pipes and attached faucets cleverly placed for the lady's handbag. The brainchild of three Korean-Americans who grew up on a diet consisting of both authentic Mexican grub and home-cooked Korean meals, expect nothing less of a brilliant unification between the two vastly different cuisines. Come with a group of friends who loved bold flavours, and start by sharing the Fresh Guacamole & Chips ($10) while nursing a Sexy Sanchez Vatos Rita's ($28), a strawberry margarita infused with a pint of Brunty's Strawberry Cider, placed precariously upside down on the side of the glass. For mains, order the better-than-fish-and-chips Baja Fish Tacos ($10 for two tacos, $14 for three) β tempura beer battered pollock fried to a shattering crisp, topped with spicy chipotle mayo, fresh salsa and apple coleslaw. Don't miss the irresistible Kimchi Carnitas Fries ($16) β think tender braised pork and sauteed kimchi atop a bed of french fries, smothered by cheese, sour cream, hot sauce and cilantro.
been wanting to have the brunch here since a long long time ago! Set contains the beef stew that is swimming in a hollowed out white toasted bread, grilled Italian sausage, reg greens and a side of scrambled eggs. The beef chunks were tender but stew was a tad bland though. Goes quite well with toast! Overall I think it's pretty good!
This fairly new kid on the Burlington Square block shares a space with Geisha Coffee, an unassuming spot for good brews that faces LASALLE. Neato has taken over the humble shopfront, banging out ridiculously tempting sweet treats like Pumpkin Cheesecake ($4.90) and Toasted Marshmallow Fudge Cake ($5.90) alongside small takeaway servings of salads. What you really need to get in on is this gorgeous Malted Milk Custard Puff ($3) β imagine flowy milk custard that reminds you of cereal, held together by a lovely choux casing that yields instantly to your teeth. It's slightly savoury thanks to the malted milk, and is a lovely twist to the sweet vanilla cream we've come to expect of a custard puff.
Curry Mayo was on point! Even though the portion was a little disappointing, the savory sauce and crispy rings made up for the lack in quantity. Quality side at only $4.50.
The pork chop was tender and juicy despite being grilled on the outside. Their barbeque sauce tasted a tad different from normal bbq sauce but provided a more smoky taste that went really well with the pork chop. Price: $9
The fish was juicy and savoury despite being grilled and the sourness of the sauce below the salmon complemented the freshness of the salmon steak really well and it only costs $15.
It may be a very simple dish but this is the best way to enjoy the taste of the mellow sweet flesh of the clams. Pls do note that this aglio olio is set at its lowest level of spiciness for most of the customers but you can request for more if you are someone who love to have a spicy kick.
But the bojio-level is way too high!π My quarantine is finally coming to an end & I am feeling so much better already!πͺπ» Gonna be back in the soccer field tomorrow too!π
