A little switch from the usual eggs benedict just because why not.
The crab cake was packed full of flavour which made me really wow on the first few bites but in all honesty, it gets abit jelak for me after awhile. Would however still recommend this for sharing
It’s 1-for-1 now with CCP so we thought we could give this place a go but it’s one of the most disappointing steaks I’ve ever had.
The steak was not well seasoned at all and what shocked me most was the fact that the doneness of the steak ranged from rare all the way to well done - IN 1 PIECE OF STEAK! It amazes me how that’s even possible!
The fries were the only saver for this but apart from that I would definitely not recommend giving your mouth a horrible workout for the price of $24.
Second time over and I finally got myself a Mixed Bowl + Udon (+$1) after seeing how many around me ordered that previously.
Lightly battered and I like the fact that it still tasted good even and crispy after it cooled down. Personal fav has got to be the seaweed and chicken!
Opted for the level 1 spicy which adds a slight kick of heat which was 👌🏼
Overall would think it’s very worth it for $16.80 with the udon. (Tbh the udon was not even needed cause I was so full from just the tempura itself but the soup tho!)
Very flavourful beef patty accompanied with sautéed mushrooms and caramelised onions and topped with cheese - all in one burger for $6.50. Though a little too salty for my preference I still think that this was a really tasty burger. Would def be back for this and to try the others in the menu.
Topped $1 for Cajun fries but that was a little disappointing for me. Was done quite alright but barely tasted the seasoning that was suppose to go along with it.
Differing from all the other reviews I left for this place, this on the other hand was simply A M A Z I N G !!
This needed awhile to prepare (maybe due to the crowd too) but definitely worth the wait. Served piping hot, the pudding had this smooth texture which gave a very nice contrast to the slight crisp to the sides/ends of the bread. Slightly towards the sweeter side but this is one I’ll come back specially for.
P/S: The bread used is their very own handmade fruit loaf by the way.
The sauce/broth was thick enough and quite flavourful. Overall, the dish is relatively nice but for the price of $23, it’s nothing spectacular.
I think I’ve been living under a rock but I suppose it’s never too late! Was introduced to this by my colleague and it was amazing!
The muffin cost $2.50 which was very value for money the moment I took my first pinch. Served freshly baked from the oven, the top half had a really good crisp to it but yet retained enough moisture on the inside. Not forgetting the bits of chocolate chip in it that’s melted 🤤
Wasn’t as gelat as I thought it would be as well so it definitely lived up to the reputation and rave that my colleague built up prior to me trying it. Will def come back for more
The only thing that stands out to me is the use of dried prawns to bring out the taste and fragrance of the dish.
Apart from that, I feel that for $19, this is quite your usual serving of Aglio Olio.
I’m glad I picked this over the original cause boy did the gochujang sauce tie everything in super nicely although it’s something relatively different from other poke bowls I’ve tried.
At $18 a bowl, I feel that this is filling enough but would probably opt to try something else my next visit
Definitely a healthy option in comparison with 3 season vegetable of the day and I love how they had the onsen egg to complement everything else in the bowl.
The black pepper sauce tasted abit watered down in my opinion but I’ve never really been a fan of black pepper so that’s alright. For $6.50, would choose to eat it again or try something else on their menu
I don’t remember the exact name of the dish but this was definitely my favourite of that night out of all the available mains for that night.
The beef was really tender and can I just say how amazing the plating was? That accompanied by the open concept and cozy interior; I’m a sucker for things like that.
My first at this despite having been here a few times but I always went for the katsu curry.
Portion would be considerably small in comparison but I felt that the size was just nice with relatively generous amount of mentaiko. Overall would say it’s worth the price and I will have it again but it’ll not be like my ultimate go to whenever I visit.
